Pros: A pleasant, easy, mostly open 9-hole course on a college campus. Even though it is all "natural" tees, four of the holes (#4, #5, #6, #8) tee off from cement with a blue line marking the end of tee. #3 is very attractive -- a throw over 15-20' wide stream that runs at most 5 inches deep and has a nice bridge. I had no trouble parking (no sticker) and no problem navigating (see details below). Nice bathroom near #6 basket (actually open at 8 AM) which is centrally located (more details below). Basket #6 is up on a mound (fun). I found the tee signs more than adequate and the baskets caught very well. Holes #7-#9 play up then down then up a small hillside so you get little elevation. People were friendly.
Cons: Holes are short (no big challenge) and mostly open. Not a lot of variety and also all had one tee spot and one basket location. The course would be a mess on rainy (or rainy+1) days.
Other Thoughts: My instinct says this is a two-star course but it's so darn pleasant (much like the Hershey Hotel course) that I am bumping to 2.5 as that how it felt on the day I played it. I would play it again if I were on campus for another reason. I was concerned about not having a parking sticker but when I reconnoitered, I did not see anything at the entrance to the commuter lots saying anything about requiring a sticker. I parked in C7 (Commuter Lot 7) which meant that basket #6 and the restroom was on the way to tee #1. Maybe that's why I didn't have HyooMac basket 5/6 unclarity (plus I had a map). A dude in a golf cart was patrolling the lot mainly checking that the garbage cans were emptied and he waved to me as I got out of my car (no challenge issued). There were some groundskeeping guys near the bathroom and they were also friendly. After playing the first 6, I hit the head again on my way to tee #7 (across the road - very safe to cross). I liked #7 (uphill to a basket behind a few trees) but they were no Adirondack chairs out there so maybe somebody read HyooMac's review and moved them. After #9, I hit the head a third time (I'm old) and got cleaned up for the road (four courses played today).

Other Thoughts:

~ Called "Raider's Revenge" on uDisc, it's nine open holes split between two areas on the Shippensburg campus. The first three holes are in a gorgeous little field, and then you cross a footbridge toward the main campus to play the rest. Basket #6 is up on a rocky mound, and there's some elevation on the finishing holes

~ Hole #3 requires a carry over a small stream. The window is fairly narrow, and most of the hole is after the right dogleg across the stream. It's a nice touch to incorporate the water, but having so much of the length after the turn is probably why they made this 286' hole a par 4.

~ Good signage on white posts, but they don't include hole diagrams and the tees are just spots on the grass. With no map, it's easy to confuse baskets #5 and #6

~ The course doesn't play in a loop, and the parking lots aren't near hole #1 or hole #9

~ Lots of interference with campus activities: sports, walking between classes, etc. The basket for hole #7 is directly behind a ring of Adirondack chairs under a huge tree. It's not playable if anyone's using those chairs

~ Bagging stop at the most; easy to combine with the Papa Jack's 9 across the street (the two are connected by an elevated walkway, so you can play 18 unremarkable holes in one stop

 Throwing Frisbees on Campus

Pros: Level, yellow-banded baskets caught well. Tees are marked with a post showing hole number and distance. Mild elevation changes on a few holes. Course is located on a pleasant small-college campus with well-mown grass.

Arrows on the basket direct you to the next hole where needed. A few tees use paved walking paths or a gravel road (but see cons).

The first three holes were moderately enjoyable. Hole 1 is a controlled 257' throw with the basket nestled between a shed and a fence. Hole 2 is a fun little putter hyzer with the basket guarded by two mature trees. And hole 3 features a generous but low-ceiling gap across a small stream before the fairway doglegs right.

Pretty basket settings feature on a couple of holes. One basket was on a rocky mound, and another was on a grassy knoll under a big shade tree.
Cons: The last six holes are mostly wide-open, offering few obstacles and little shade on a hot summer day. A few of these holes have one or two trees or power line poles to avoid from the tee.

Not much variation in hole length (seven of nine holes are between 240' and 300'). Not much variation in elevation, either. Most of the course is pretty flat.

Walking paths, athletic fields, and student activities share the fairway on many holes. You may have to wait for pedestrians and work around non-disc golf activities while playing the course.

Natural (grass) tees on many holes.
Other Thoughts: This is not a particularly interesting or enjoyable course, offering little technical challenge or risk-reward decision-making. Unless you are a student here, there is not much reason to play this course other than bagging.

No hole diagram on tee signs, but other than hole 3 all baskets are visible from the tee.

Campus sticker needed for parking, but you can easily park at nearby Papa Jack's DGC and take the short walk to the Shippensburg campus.
