Pros: -- Nice piece of land with elevation and water, and it is disc golf only.
-- Good tee signs with distance, flight path and OB notes.
-- A small sign with rules for casual play. Good for newbies.
-- Nice scenery, including views of Granbury and a fountain.
-- Nos. 3 and 5 are the best holes. Three is a 203-foot slightly downhill throw to a basket that is a few feet from a 6-8 foot drop-off and is guarded by a tree. Five is 165 straight across a small pond (with a fountain), but a tree is directly in your path, so you have to go wide right (over the pond) or wide left.
Cons: -- Maintenance. Poor does not begin to describe it. I hoped this was COVID related (my first visit was July 2020) and would improve as the pandemic eased, but it was still BAD in April 2021 even though the rest of the church grounds are well maintained. An area near the parking lots (baskets 7 and 9) had been cleared as of November 2021, so there is hope the entire course might be getting some needed maintenance. Grass/weeds were waist high (chest high in some places) in most of the "fairways." A gravel path that was put in to help you navigate has mostly washed away and become overgrown. You now have difficulty even finding that path. There is also a safety issue because in some spots, the gravel has washed away, leaving the black cloth/tarp visible. Unfortunately, that black cloth hides uneven ground or holes in a few instances.
-- Gravel tee pads are already washing away. Several are uneven and pitted, and a few have significant weeds growing through the gravel.
-- Baskets are Black Hole Pro. Several are already loose.
-- No. 4 is a 288-foot RHBH hyzer shot that likely goes directly though or over the No. 5 tee pad.
-- No amenities (restrooms, water, seating).
Other Thoughts: -- Time and money were spent, but much of it was not spent wisely. The path is dangerous in spots and can't be seen from the tee on most holes, but the OB is often related to that path. A couple of nice wooden bridges were put in, but I was crossing extremely shallow, dry areas. Putting that effort and money into better baskets and better tee pads would have made for a better course.
-- It is difficult to figure the intended audience for the course. You would think with shorter holes (288 feet is the longest and only one other hole is longer than 250 feet) it would be beginner friendly and intended to introduce church members to the sport. However, the OB frequently requires 200-foot throws, so I can see beginners getting frustrated as they pile up the penalty strokes.
-- When you come up the driveway, go left into the first parking lot and go to the end. You will see the rules sign and the first tee.
-- With decent maintenance, this easily goes up to a 1.5 and perhaps a 2.0.

Pros: The views of Granbury from this course are great. Looks like they used a flood area to build this course. They spent some money. There are good rock formations they installed and a path from hole to hole. Some elevation changes and a great path.
Cons: Mostly short and easy. Hard to follow but they dont have signs yet. Just follow the path you should be good. Unique tee boxes but fun.
Other Thoughts: They spent some money clearing the area and building this course. It will probably flood when it rains. Once the grass and weeds grow back a little it will be way prettier. Right now its barren. But it will look great in a spring or 2.
