The few bushes and shrubs are the easiest things in the world to avoid.
All but one of the tee pad locations are often very close to each other making it feel like a 9-hole course you play twice.

4/13 and 5/14 are WAY far apart. You're looking at a 600ft walk between them.
Other Thoughts: Don't waste your time coming here. This course feels very wedged into an area of land that would be better off with something else there. Fortunately it looks like the land is for lease so this blight on the KC disc golf scene might go away soon.

It gone. Baskets have been pulled and according to the owner they will not be replaced.

Best to avoid

Pros: Not a lot good about this course. There's a cool raised pin that offers some variety, one hole over water, and parking is nice. Good baskets.
Cons: Where to begin. Flat, mediocrely mowed grass, almost no trees in the fairways, yet there's some thick rough on a couple of holes that will really cause problems for beginners. At least the rough blocks right-to-left lines on three holes.
There's a water shot on 14 that is probably the best hole on the course, except it doesn't fit with the rest of the course. If you're not comfortable with that distance, skip the hole.
It's really a 9 hole course, with two tee pads on every hole. On only one hole do they come at the basket from separate directions. Navigation is also tough; the last five baskets are down the sidewalk from the first four, and it's hard to find the tees a few times. One is even on a concrete block a foot off the ground.
There's a fence on the right of hole 5 to an apartment complex. You can walk around the fence to retrieve your disc, but it wouldn't be a problem if the tee pad was just pushed left 70 feet.
Other Thoughts: It's hard to see who this course is made for. It offers no challenge for experienced players, except 350-foot drives/upshots, but it doesn't show beginners what a good course is like either since there are hardly any obstacles. It's better than having no course here, but it probably isn't the best choice to come play.
