Pros: Lots of parking. Basketball courts near by. Totaly flat. Great tee pads and most holes have signs to show where the baskets are and approch angles.
Cons: Rough neighborhood. Totaly flat. No place to hide. Several holes are loooooong. Everything is par 3. Would like to see a couple of par 4s

Pros: Good tee pads. Pretty good mixture of long and short holes. Long throwers will have some advantage on the first few holes but there are some shorter holes later that will reward accuracy although I think being long is better on this course since most baskets are not hidden by trees or otherwisw protected. A good tee shot is essential.
Cons: Some of the holes play across roads and the course is mostly flat without a lot of real challenges to contend with. Somewhat of a challenge to find the next tee.
Other Thoughts: I thought this course was just OK the first time I played it but I just played it two more times and like it a little better. McClure park is nearby and a much better course in my opinion.

Challenging, fun and a little bit different

Pros: Good course for intermediate to advanced level players at 6600'. Not overwhelming for novices and casuals, but with two of the first three holes over 600' each, they will find it challenging. Has some good variance on hole distances and flows pretty logically. Disccatchers are easy to see (just make sure you're looking at the right one). Some water threat on the first two holes (if it goes in, you're likely not getting it back), but nothing a decently accurate drive can't avoid. Not crowded with casuals unlike some other course in town. Plenty of hyzer potential for lefties with OB trouble often to your right. Great course for learning how to steer around trees. Along with the length, the trees are what make this course tick.
Cons: Flat as a pancake, well except for the ditches alongside the roads. It could get ugly getting to the next tee after a hard rain here. Maintenance seems come and go here. Sometimes its well mowed, sometimes not. Compared to McClure nearby, amenities like bathrooms are non existent here. The relative openness of the course makes it hard to find a good tree to say hello to. Some footbridges to get over the ditch areas would be an improvement.
Other Thoughts: Kind of a strange albeit appropriate location for a DG course, Dovillio sits in a narrow buffer area between Mingo Creek and a subdivision with unimproved streets (hence the reason for the ditches). With McClure nearby, you'd be good to hit them both if you're in the neighborhood.

Pros: Good course with a mix of just about everything. There are big boomers that allow you to air it out and then there are some tight technical shots where you can practice your accuracy and then you can combine the two on the same hole. The navigation is pretty easy for first timers. There are good baskets and tee pads. Not many people out there so you arent in a rush and can play at your own pace. No real places to lose plastic so the newer players dont have to worry about that.
Cons: The grass is tall. No real elevation so its just ok. There isnt alot of obsticles other then a tree here and there which makes for not many memorable holes. Once you leave your vehicle you dont come back until your done so make sure you bring everything you need with you. Not much shade so I bet it gets warm during the summer months.
Other Thoughts: Close to Mcclure so it makes for an interesting 2 rounds of golf if Mcclure gets to busy. It would be interesting to see the "river" fill up because it has the potential of being huge.

 One tough course

Pros: Very mature course. Lots of trees. Concrete tee pads. Due to the very long length and mature trees I find this course very challenging.
Cons: Many of the holes markers are gone. Some holes seem impossible to par. While I am sure they are I just haven't done it. Course is in a rough part of town.
Other Thoughts: I really like this course. It forces me to get better.

Pros: fairly flat, some good challenging shots thru trees. flat out fun
Cons: there are deep ditches between holes and disc loosing potential on the second hole because of the steep hill with rocks and the creek. but if you play it safe youll be fine

 Long, left handed layout

Pros: Long, safe playing and easy on the plastic. Some water and OB road, but not in your face. Features many types of trees, very well kept, clean and scenic. Tough holes forcing smooth long accurate shots or get knocked down short and have to craft an upshot. Several holes 600'.
Cons: Very left-handed friendly, not too well balanced. Could be too long to take a beginner too, with no short tees marked.
Other Thoughts: Rating may but based on me liking to throw far.
3.5 not taking that into account.
Be prepared to get knocked down by trees and branches on most holes!

Pros: This course has a good layout and is a longer par 3 course. Great pads and baskets.
Cons: It's a little flat, and some of the fairways hold water after it rains.
Other Thoughts: I really enjoy playing this course. It's more difficult in summer when the trees fill out. Excellent practice course!

Pros: Extremely long drives and no hazards besides trees. If you want to practice driving or show off how far you can throw then you should play this course. Good signs and pads. Overall it's pretty good.
Cons: The lack of hazards means the course isn't as exciting as some others but it makes up for it in other ways. Every hole is a par three, even the 700 foot ones.
Other Thoughts: Long course but the lack of hazards and variety doesn't really keep you on your toes. You might throw it into a few trees though. At least you can't lose a disc.

Pros: The course was fairly well kept with good signs, it provided a variety of shots and long drives. There were no real Hazards where you would lose a disc and not be able to retrieve.
Cons: There were no real hazards to try and avoid there were a good number of trees but I had no problem going around most of them with a good lie.
Other Thoughts: A good course to play competitively or get some good practice in without losing a disc.
