-What I'm calling #1 and #2 have lots of hazards from parking lots and ball fields
-Play outside of school hours
-#3, #4 and #5 in an open field with no obstacles
Other Thoughts: Pella Christian High School has placed 5 baskets on the grounds in the SE part of Pella, IA. Top notch baskets, brand new, white banded Dynamic Veterans, is really the only positive here. There is little to indicate a "course". I started at #1? SE of the main building just off the parking lot and shooting toward the ball fields. #2? was along the back of the ball fields and pops out at the north end of the fields complex. #3, #4 and #5 play in an open field north of the main building. I suppose this would give students a try at hitting some baskets, but there is no real course set-up here. Just up the road at the public middle and intermediate schools is 9 baskets in a course. Here is just 5 baskets sprinkled around the grounds. Add some tee pads, signage, make a course of it and it would jump in the rating. I suppose if you're bagging, swing by and toss at the 5 baskets, otherwise, there are 2 much better options (Dutch DGC [9] and Central College DGC [18]), possibly a 3rd if they ever finish Big Rock DGC. I won't play here again.
