Pros: This is a little slice of heaven as the land is concerned. Beautiful trees elevation changes baskets and signs . Rubber tee pads. It's worth it just for the hike Tight trees. Challenging course
Cons: This is not for amateurs and without the map it would be hard to play. If you can't throw it straight this may not be the course for you.
Other Thoughts: This 100% is worth driving out of the way for and $5 is a price you cannot beat

Pros: -- Beautiful setting with lots of mature trees.
-- Peaceful setting well away from any manmade structures or noise.
-- Elevation changes come into play on more than half of the holes.
-- O.B. fence lines (and added ropes in some cases) add difficulty.
-- Nice benches scattered throughout the course.
-- Decent tees signs with the basic information (distance, par, basic flight path); course maps available upon request.
-- Host/owner is extremely friendly and accommodating.
-- Some helpful navigational aids (such as the arrows pointing to 4 and 7 on the same path in different directions). A few more are needed.
-- Basket for 16 is inside an shed/barn with no sides (just a roof). Really fun hole.
Cons: -- Course is fairly short; only 1 hole is longer than 400 feet; 11 are shorter than 300 feet.
-- Navigation (even with the map provided by the host) can be tricky as spatial relations on the map are not always accurate. For example, 12 basket to 13 tee looks like about a 50-foot straight shot on the map; in fact, it is probably 150 feet and you have to round a corner. On the map, 10 (217 feet) is longer than 13 (306 feet).
-- OB is marked on the tee signs, but there is no indication of how close the OB is to the basket/fairway, etc. Sometimes it is difficult to determine if the OB is the fence or the road.
-- No water in play.
-- No facilities and no practice basket.
Other Thoughts: -- The drive from the main road (U.S. 79) seems much longer than it really is, and some parts of it are dangerous on country road 370; there are spots where there is only room for one-way traffic on a two-way road.
-- If you like airing out drive on open holes, this course is not for you.
-- $5 to play.
-- Our GPS took us to the neighboring property using latitude/longitude; make sure to check and use the address.

Pros: Private course in the piney woods of east Texas. Beautiful mature trees with over a hundred Dogwood trees. Elevation changes come into play on about half the holes. No water but O.B. fence lines add to difficulty. Well maintained with tees signs and course maps available upon request.
Cons: As this course is heavily wooded, there will always be some tree limbs and leaves in the fall. A few holes have tight lines but still fair.
Other Thoughts: Yearly tournament in the spring while the Dogwoods bloom. Host will usually play along.
