Pros: Course has good baskets, is mapped on Udisc, has 10 Meter bricks around most baskets, has orange arrows on each basket indicating next tee pad and concrete (hole 1) and turf tee pads (all others). The course has lots of variety as far as shot shape, but all holes are less than 300ft. Large portions of the course are shaded. It does have 2 trash cans. There is a loaner box with DX plastic discs and a disc return box. Property is mowed weekly.
Cons: Course is limited on Wednesday afternoons and Sunday afternoons as well as some of the holes during soccer season when soccer parking overflows onto the course (holes 1, 7 and 9). The course could use some permanent tee signs, but the laminated ones do provide the distance and a general layout of the hole. Bring your own water. There are no public bathrooms.
Other Thoughts: Would be a higher rating with better tee signs and if the 3 additional holes (10-12) were playable other than just during tournament play.

Decent Church Course

Pros: One of the better church courses that I have played. It features natural tees marked by a board in the ground and most have tee signs. The course features plenty of trees to shape around and is set in a chill environment. The course is recreational in nature but is clearly the best 9 hole course in the greater Tallahassee area.
Cons: The natural tees, rec distances, and the number of holes could be a deterrent for some but for a church rec course, this one is ok.
Other Thoughts: The course is fairly new but more holes and improvements should be coming so there is room for a higher rating in the future.

!st update 12/27/22: New improvements include better turf tees and tee signage. Rating updated to 3.0 Good!

Pros: This is a short course with several technical shots. This is by no means meant to be a pro layout. We are trying to make a little easier course for the area to attract new players but also challenge the most experienced players. We are hoping to add some longer pads to make the holes a little more challenging in the future. There are plans to add an additional 9 baskets. Just have to do a little fundraising.
There are mandos on hole #1 & #2 at this time. There is a possibility of adding another on hole #9
Hole #7 is an island green. If you land on any of the asphalt it is OB.

Also, there are 2 porta-potties behind the basket area of Hole 7.
Cons: Hole length. Hole #5 & #6 will need to have a raised tee pads made as they are all-natural ground at this time.
Bring some water. As of right now, we do not have any drinking water set up.
Other Thoughts: Hoping everyone will enjoy the course. There are plans to add longer tee pads in the future. Still working on tee box signs. This is a work in progress. If you play the course please let me know what you think. [email protected]
Please use UDisc if you play the course. You will have to search for Buck Lake DGC for it to come up. I still have it hidden at this time, because we are not officially open.
