Pros:
+level turf tees, veteran baskets
+view of the columbia
+front & back 9 end near parking lot
+easy stop off I-84
+a couple par 4s
Cons:
-navigation (pay attention to udisc map; cross street to next tee)
-no benches
-no restroom
-loose sand, dense rough, sagebrush/weeds
Other Thoughts:
this course just opened, so this review will need updated as more things happen to the course.
i caught it on a low wind day, but being right on the columbia it should get a fair amount of windy days. wind will really affect throws as there are lots of open holes (6 thru 15).
i wonder why there is not a hole between 290-340ft (easy to remedy with another pad).
i lost my way one time after playing 11, i went to the visible pad (16) & then after 17 i realized i had skipped, so walked back & crossed the street to find 12.
there are a few unique holes that offset the boring desert holes; to save time, you could just play the 8 interesting holes with a 2 sagebrushy hole connection: 1-5> 10-11> 16-18 (& no need to cross the street)
the artificial (log circle) island on 13 makes 12-15 somewhat interesting/challenging (all wide open ~270ft, this is where a longer (315ish) hole should be).
it's a good stop off i-84 that makes the most of the available land.
