Pros: -- Nice, new Innova baskets.
-- Nice mulch path through much of the course.
-- Beautiful bridges to cross water/ditches.
-- No. 3 is probably the best hole on the course, but after easy and open holes 1 and 2 (this basket is around the corner left hidden by a small dam), this hole with very tight lines (bordering on no lines) through trees doesn't seem to fit.
Cons: -- Only six holes, and very little variation in distance. All holes are 200-280 feet.
-- Tee pads. They are very narrow and a little short. They are also gravel filled, meaning they are not level. Making matters worse is the brick border raised above ground level, meaning you can't start behind the tee box for a bigger run up.
-- Trail through the course brings a lot of non disc golfers.
Has hole number signs that are pretty cool.
-- There is something of a long walk to get to No. 1 (right of the pool/clubhouse and the second playground; the course is right/short of the dog park). There is also a walk from 5 to 6 (you backtrack the distance of 5 along the walking path and turn right after the last house and head toward the soccer field) and a much longer walk from 6 back to the parking lot.
-- Runoff from the pond is right behind the No. 2 tee. It hadn't rained much recently, so I can imagine times when this tee pad is under water.
-- Ridiculous lines to baskets. No. 4 is about a 100 foot throw to a corner (around bushes) and a nearly 90-degree left turn leaving you 150 feet to the basket. You can try to throw over the top, but that is dangerous; No. 5 tee pad is about 25 feet left of the 4 basket, and you can't see either one from the 4 tee. No. 6 might be even worse. If you follow the direction the tee pad points, you've got about 30 feet into the open and then 250 feet after a 90-degree left turn. There is a VERY narrow path sideways directly to the basket. In addition to this crazy line, the fairway is a soccer practice field (so there will be times you can't play the hole) and appears to be a flood plain.
Other Thoughts: -- Course is not listed as private, but it is part of a housing community, and a sign for the nature trail through the course says it is for residents only.
-- Instead of parking in the lot at the pool, you can park at the cul-de-sac on Ridgeview and start on No. 3. That will save you some of the long walking.
-- Tee signs look nice but have no information other than the hole number.
-- No benches at the tees. There are large rocks along the path that look inviting, but I found active ant colonies in several of those rocks.

Pros: Has hole number signs that are pretty cool.

Gravel tee boxes are nice

Baskets are new
Cons: Everything else.

Seriously, this course has some major issues from not just a design standpoint, but in upkeep too.
Other Thoughts: What could have been a nice little 6 hole course in a neighborhood just falls flat on it's face.

1st off, you have to walk past the playground to get to hole one. Simple hole with the tee pad pointing straight and the basket is off to the right. There is nothing between the basket and the tee, why have the tee face a different direction?

2nd hole is actually pretty cool, the park is actually a flood control area and the basket is hidden behind the dam in a small group of trees.

3rd hole has some clearing issues. The hole throws across a walking path, that is one problem, but a tree has fallen and there is no real flight path to follow. The worst part is that tree has been there for a very long time.

hole 4 is ridiculous. Why make a 250ft hole that is a very hard dogleg left? Throw your disc 50ft straight laying it up, then throw the 200ft upshot to save your 3. On top of that, this area is not mowed.

Hole 5 is a decent little hole although it needs to be mowed.

Hole 6 is another crazy dogleg. You could actually throw directly at the basket but the window is very small. The shot is a big booming hyzer, however it is impossible to get the 2, you will just be throwing out into the field for a layup and get your 3.

Then the even longer walk back to your car.

Would I play here again? Heck no, this course sucked. I gave it a 1.5 only because a couple of the holes were OK. The upkeep and the design of the course left something to be desired. There is enough room out there to put a short little pitch and putt 9 hole course for the neighborhood kids. Something they could enjoy playing. This course is not it.
