Pros: -- Good Mach V baskets.
-- Good tee signs have been added since the previous review 18 months ago. They are low to the ground, so they don't help much with navigation.
-- Best holes are 6, 13 and 17. Six (433 feet) is a RHBH anny shot to a basket down in a bowl. Thirteen (296 feet) throws under a major road and through/past a tree. Seventeen (305 feet) throws through trees and beside/over a creek bed (dry in March 2023) to a basket in the open.
-- Restroom on site.
-- Big covered pavilion by 6 tee that would make a good gathering spot for a large group or a tournament HQ.
Cons: -- Tee pads. Loose soil that looks like it was added to create a tee pad has instead made them close to unusable. There is no defined tee area; you can't even tell which side of the tee sign you are supposed to tee from.
-- Grass was deep (mid shin) on large parts of the course.
-- Boring, mostly open holes. There is nothing wrong with those holes, but there is little right with them, either.
-- Couse flow is a mixed bag. The first five holes are easy to find; a long walk right between the building and the river gets you to 6 and 7. Walk back to get to 8. After 12, you see a tee to your left; that is 15. You have to go under a major road for 13 and 14. Then you either backtrack significantly to go under the road to get to 15 or you walk across the busy road.
Other Thoughts: -- The tee for No. 1 is behind the restroom, near the basketball court. The previous review said tennis court; There is no longer a tennis court, nor a fence.
-- You've got the Bosque River bordering the course, but water is not really in play on any hole. A water carry probably isn't feasible, but a hole throwing along/at the water would be nice.

Pros: Decent Mach V baskets
Most of the course was well groomed
Ok flow for the most part
Decent use of land given
Tees marked with wooden polls
Cons: No tee signs
Grass/dirt tee pads
Long walk between 5 and 6 and 7 and 8
Other Thoughts: I was pleasantly surprised with this course when I played this course.

Small town, don't expect much. This is a simple course with dirt tee's and 4x4 posts marking the tee boxes. Just one set of tees and basket locations.

The course starts off next to the tennis courts with a few shorter holes though the large tree's. in a counter clockwise flow till your back to the large gazebo. Then you have a long walk around the American Legion Hall to get to hole 6 and 7.

Back across the Hall to get to hole 8 and 9.

Then you have one more hole along the tree line before several long mostly open holes Holes 11 and 12 are pure distance and mostly open.

Go under the bridge to get to holes 13 and 14.

Back across the road (or under the bridge) to get to 15 and work your way back to the start. These are mostly wide open longer shots with OB roads coming into play somewhat.

Hole 17 is what I would consider the "signature" hole of the course. My phone died after hole 5 and I was playing blind. I got my wife to take the pic of hole 17 because I really liked this tee shot though the trees with the creek on the right.

Hole 18 was a good par 4 hole too with your drive placement important to set up your upshot for the 3.

Would I play here again? Yea I would. This course is not on a beaten path, you pretty much have to go out of your way to play here. But if you do, I don't think you would be too disappointed. yea, you got a few wide open long drives, but there is enough interesting holes to make up for it overall.

Pros: 18 New baskets in a large park area. Wooden numbered polls for tee markers. Some variety of shots that vary in length and difficulty. Nice mature trees and a few elevation changes. Worth the stop if you are around the area. For a small town this is a really well laid out course. The park has many sub areas that they try to use making each area feel a little different. As the course goes on it gets longer. Armatures to good players all should enjoy this course .
Cons: No pads(i dont think they need them) no signs. Also really well laid out so this is not an issue. They should use tape or paint when going from 1 part of the park to another to make it easier to find. A bit of a walk between some of the park areas.
Other Thoughts: After 5 Hard right to get to 6.
6 and 17 are pretty nice holes.
Who ever laid this course out did a great job.
