I Guess It's Not Called "Good Course Design" Headquarters.

Pros: Nine holes to the southeast of the Dynamic Discs warehouse. Not much to write home about but a nice field to test out the new molds in.
For being a practice course, it has all the trappings. Concrete tees (excepting hole 1), tee signs, and last-gen Veteran baskets taken from Jones Gold but re-skinned with the new logos. A few practice baskets around. Nice to have the feel of an established course at a newer spot.
The two woods holes are quite nice. Hole 2 charges down an 8ft wide tunnel for about 175ft then veers right at the finish. Hole 3 is an elevation drop with a sharp right turn. Both of these have some rough to the sides, but it should break in along with the rest of the course.
Cons: Unfortunately, those two holes are all the course has going for it. Holes 1, 5, 7, 8, and 9 are all unadulterated air with just a bush forcing a left-finishing shot on 8. Hole 9 plays with a fence along the left side for the first 350ft which would be easy to shank a shot over.
Hole 4 is a blind high righty turnover shot off the tee that doesn't add any spice other than forcing that one shot. A pure lefty hyzer won't do. Hole 6 plays to a green sunk into the rough line about 20ft, but only has an area about 25ft in a circle mowed around the pin. Is it worth the risk of going into the thick rough, or will you be satisfied with the gimme par?
Some of the leftover tree roots in the wooded area are ankle-breakers. Tread lightly.
An overturned backhand on 1 is headed straight for the tee of 2. It's rare there would be enough people here at once for that to be an issue, but maybe one day.
Other Thoughts: There isn't a whole lot of course here, and what there is is mostly flat, open, and unappealing. Unless you're a serious course bagger this field with baskets isn't worth going out of your way for. Could be a fun little jaunt for locals.
