Nice play of 36

Pros: -Nice baskets (made by someone locally, but as nice as any that can be bought) with the hole number in metal on top
-Decent layout (you play 18 or easily play all 36)
-Good map, available at the sign in the parking lot
-Grounds kept in very good shape
-Mostly away from other activities in the park
Cons: -No tee pads or signs on the course
-No benches or garbage cans
-Rough is a little punishing (especially when I played mid-summer)
Other Thoughts: An interesting course set in a local park with a lake. The water only comes into play on a handful of holes. Some terrain and a fair amount of trees adds to the interest. All par 3s, some could be par 4s on other courses. Mostly straight forward lines. A great place to work on your technical shots. OK for new players, but could get a bit long if you play all 36. I enjoyed my round here and would consider going back.

Greenfield Lake City Park

Pros: Beautiful park with two winding eighteen hole courses
Cons: Short holes, most all under 200 feet as well as antiquated baskets.
Other Thoughts: While this was a nice walk through a park most holes are easily played at half power with a putter. Upgrading this park to more modern holes and a longer eighteen hole layout would draw more players. Park was deserted today save for one DNR employee. Course map available at town hall from the information I recieved.
