Pros: -Good Length on holes
-Baskets OK
Cons: -No tees (play basket to basket)
-No signage
-Typical school time restrictions
-Mostly open
Other Thoughts: Boone Middle School hosts a very open DGC in the eastern part of Boone, IA. There is a lot of real estate to work around on the school campus. I started near a baseball backstop off the western parking lot. I worked counter-clockwise around the south and east sides of the building. There are a handful of trees along the #5-7 holes, but otherwise, it is wide open. The usual time constraints are in place to play outside school hours (but I played in the summer, so it was very quiet). You could use the area for some field work, but there is only some distance to test you here with four at or over 400'. Add some tees and signage to improve, but overall just a bit above most school courses for the length alone. Maybe a warm-up for McHose, but unless you are bagging, or just want to air it out, I'd skip it.
