Nice Play in a State Park

Pros: -Decent Layout - Away from most other park activities
-Good Baskets
-Some use of terrain, trees, adds to interest
-Park is kept up well, "fairways" mowed on 1, 5, 6, 7, 8
-Tee signs are OK, but just distance and par
Cons: -Natural tees
-No benches / trashcans
-Could use a map
-Rough on #1 is a tad harsh
Other Thoughts: Lake of Three Fires DGC is located in its namesake park north of Bedford, IA. A nice state park with lots of camping, boating, equestrian, and some disc golf. The 9 holes have some interest with some mature trees in play. You get a nice view of the lake from #1,2 and 3, but it doesn't really come into play. Most of these are straight lines with play around some trees. Adding concrete tee pads, some benches / trashcans and keeping the rough on #1 down would add to the rating for me. A good little course if you're there for other activities, but not something to plan a trip for. I enjoyed my round, would play again if in the area.

Secluded Course

Pros: Course is set in beautiful park away from the main roadways, on a quiet waterfront. Diverse shot selection from hole to hole with the distance being fairly short. That being said this course isn't an easy par.
It loops back to the beginning of the course.
Cons: The distance on the tee signs were a bit off.
Other Thoughts: This course is perfect if you need to get the family out for some exercise, or to stretch from a road trip. The park beauty is enough to draw gratification from this one.
