Pros: -Concrete Tees
-Decent baskets
-Nice use of area (for the most part, see #6 below)
-A few benches/picnic tables/trashcans
-More than a "Pitch 'n' Putt"
-Signs that are intact are above average
Cons: -Signs missing on #4, #5 and #10
-Could use a map
-Hole #6 plays right through a small playground
Other Thoughts: Maxwell City Park DGC is a nice course. At 12 holes, makes it a little longer than most city park courses. It mainly stays away from other park activities. Holes #1, #11 and #12 play around a baseball field, a wayward shot could end up in that field. Hole #6 plays right through a small playground. Replacing the missing signs, and possibly re-routing hole #6 would give this a better look. A couple more benches and trashcans wouldn't hurt either. Overall, I have enjoyed my round here and would play again.

Pros:
- Baskets are pretty stinkin' nice.
- Hole designs are passable and utilize trees as obstacles with some degree of success
- The little trickle of a creek spices up a few of the holes, but just a little
- Layout is ok, not too many long walks to the next tee
- The course is in a park so it's mowed and picked up
- Most beginners and casual players will find paring these holes accessible if not a little testing, even with a limited skill set
Cons:
A short list of things that could made this course play better would include:
- Tee signs
- A course map
- This place is flat!
- This course is a bit on the short side
- The little creek running through the park is small, pointless and seems to have muddied up some of the holes
- there's a garbage can by hole 9
- The last few holes skirt a ball field and would probably toe the line of what is safe to play when pedestrians abound
Other Thoughts:
I wasn't holding out much hope for this course but was pleasantly surprised with a really enjoyable round on a nice fall day.
The park wasn't busy so I didn't have to worry about pegging any park goers, but it's easy to see how that could be a problem if there was a lot of activity going on.
The shot selection isn't the best, the hole variety isn't the best and it's a bit on the short side as far as distance is concerned. It's not 18 holes but it's more than 9...
For me this park is right in the middle; not really stepping out but certainly not the worst.
Adding signs and a course map will be the first step in bringing this course up to the next level.

Pros: Concrete tees. Handful of good holes.
Cons: Tee pads are tiny. There are shelters that come into play.
Other Thoughts: This is a short review as there just isn't much to say about this course. I would recommend skipping this one.

Pros: Concrete tees, though small. Interesting shots. Convenience store very close.
Cons: Absence of tee signage. Conflicts with other park facilities.
Other Thoughts: It's a typical small town park, the only one in town, so there are a lot of things going on in one place. In addition to the course, there is baseball, a fairground, stage, play equipment, rodeo ring and parking to support all of that. When anything else is going on, there will be at least one hole that will be unplayable. There are only a few holes that are not affected by these conflicts.

Aside from those cons, the course is very fun to play as there are many interesting throws and most of the holes allow you a choice of methods in which to play them. There is a Casey's convenience store across the street from the 1st tee, so you have your snack and beverage needs covered.

It's a fun little course if you find yourself in Maxwell.

Pros: cement tee boxes, mature trees, fairly unpopulated city park, good mix of long and short holes
Cons: No elevation change, poorly marked baskets, no signs at the tee box
Other Thoughts: 12 holes, but there are rumors of expanding to 18
