Pros: -Baskets catch well enough
-Tees are big enough for the distance needed on this course.
-Tees marked by wooded post
-Nice views of the river and the water is somewhat threatening on a few holes while coming back.
-Some decently fun tee shots with a little foliage.
-Good place to go for some ace runs, to teach beginners, and to introduce new players to the game. Good for a very quick round.
-Close to the downtown and main areas of town. The better courses are a little out of the way.
Cons: -Short and fairly easy course.
-It is pretty crammed in so the holes are close together and it is kind of hard to see which one is next. There are also a few tees where you can see multiple baskets.
-This is a multi use park so keep your eyes open.
-If you have an errant throw it could hit the Wisco river and might not come back.
-I think this course is a little neglected by the city and local disc golf club. There are other courses in the area that see more serious player traffic.
-No real info on the tees, the holes aren't long so distance isn't super important.
Other Thoughts: Contrary to my title, I am going to try and review this course as objectively as possible without comparing it to the other courses in the Point Area. That being said, if you had time restraints this should be your last course on your priority list in this town.

1 Rocks
2 Yulga
3 McDill
4 Mead

That being said, I still had fun here. This course has been here for awhile and has a bit of a historical feel to it. It might be a fun course to play with a superclass disc or just a putter. I would reccomend a stop here but only after the other three.

Pros: Rather beautiful setting on a public park next to the Wisconsin River near downtown Stevens Point.
It has 9 disc golf holes with only a few that might cause your throw to roll/land in the Wisconsin River.
A nice, state-of-the-art children's play area is adjacent to the course.
Cons: It has very few hazards and most of the throws are in a rather open, turfgrassed field.
A rather beginner to maybe intermediate level course.
The course is very flat and the throw lanes rather wide open.
Litter from the public
Other Thoughts: There can be a lot of goose dung on the course and it can be downright soggy when the conditions have been wet or the soil saturated within the past 4 or 5 days.

Pros: The course does offer a variety of distances for a 9 hole beginner course. All the holes have cement platforms to tee-off from. The course is well maintained.

Some holes offer more difficulty than others with trees in the way or the river running along two of the holes(definitely avoid going into it).

Very good for beginners to get use to the game with open holes and clear visibility of the basket for aiming.
Cons: The holes are not very well marked. It's quite easy to play them out of order if you haven't played it before or are watching someone else play who knows the course.
Other Thoughts: While it doesn't provide a lot of challenge to more experience players, it does provide good practice for then to more on their short game and putting. And for some people like me, the short hole course is more challenging than a long hole course.

Pros: Well maintained and clean, concrete pads, and well designed holes and long for a nine hole. Mostly open but still somewhat challenging.
Cons: Very dangerous course design, Multi-use park, mostly younger rec players better locals play the better courses in the area
Other Thoughts: This course is a clean, fun, course that has good facilities and gets a lot out of its limited space. It is is a very playable 9 hole.
But be careful though or you could get drilled with a disc. There are teepads and pins located right next to or on fairways. I had a couple of near misses and the locals were telling me about someone who took a disc to the grill.
