Pros: Challenging holes. The tee box for hole 4 is along side the street next to the basketball hoops. Hard to find from hole 3. Some long holes with challenging shots makes for a very interesting course in a smallish park. Overall I like it a lot. I skipped hole number 8 because, as a previous poster said, it is a disc eater. There are two tee boxes for hole 8 for different skill levels. One is blue th other red. Use a disc you can afford to lose if you chose to try hole 8.
Cons: Some of the last holes are in areas where it would be easy to lose a disc in heavy brush.
Other Thoughts: Lots of fun to play. If in the area don't skip it.

Pros: Challenging long tees for more experienced players, and workable shorter tees for more novice players. Water hazzards, thick, disc-eating shule, mandos and o.b.'s. This course incorporates just about everything, though it's only a nine hole.
Cons: Sand tee boxes make for poor footing sometimes. Local kids like to deface the baskets and pull up tee posts.
Other Thoughts: If you are going to be in the Corpus Area, at least pay the course a visit just to say you have. And don't worry about losing plastic, we'll find it.

 A Strange Mix of Holes

Pros: If West Guth and Live Oak had a baby, it would look like Waldron Park. The course plays mostly around a hungry lake and a patch of woods, and both are used quite well in a variety of shots over the water (#1 & #8), around the edge of the woods (#2 & #3) and through the woods (#4-#7). #9 plays through trees outside of the woods with an interesting mando between two trees. One hole uses the tree-lined cul-de-sac as OB for a very interesting shot, while many others have interesting twists, like two choke points between trees.

Every basket on this course is protected in some way, whether through a blind drive, a mando, a lake, or a ring of trees just the right size to stick a basket in the middle.
Cons: Like Live Oak, this course is quite flat, though minor terrain does come into play at times. Also, the sandy soil of the course makes the dirt tee pads a bit hard to use (according to a sponsored local player, the sand also prevents them from easily installing gravel or concrete)

Teeing off from sand is a pain, and hard to get a grip on. Also like Live Oak, the course seems a bit overgrown, with nasty, impenetrable shule that punishes severely for errant shots, and grabby trees that dont like to let go of discs.

The holes here vary from decent to quite interesting, but the rough and flat nature of this course make for an overall decent but not impressive experience.
Other Thoughts: A nice little course with interesting wrinkles, yet a bit overzealous with the lengthy over water shots, IMO.

The two unusual mandos (culdesac, between trees) are fun, yet gimmicky ways of making otherwise ok holes interesting. I think the holes are better for having them, but they are somewhat frustrating.

The sand sends up a nice little cloud upon impact, so its always easy to tell where your driver landed.

Pros: Some of the holes provide a challenge
Cons: Bugs. Only nine holes. Discs can get lost easily the last few holes.
Other Thoughts: Overall an OK course, but the courses in the CC area arent the best
