Pros: After you find the first tee this course is VERY easy to navigate. Nice cement tee boxes with plenty of room. Hole# and distance written on rocks next to tee box. Great short range and technical shots. Intermediate course. Very hard to lose a disc. Water did not come into play.
Cons: If you have a cooler make sure you got some big wheels or you'll be dragging pine needles the whole time. Not much need for drivers. Few scattered trash cans which are very small and overflow at times.
Other Thoughts: If you do not have a kingwood resident sticker you WILL be towed if you park inside parking lot. You can still play here, but you must park on the side of the road before gate entrance to park. I spoke with the tow dude and he said parking there is absolutely OK. He has no remorse for people who park in parking lot though. You've been warned!

Pros: great little 18 holes in the woods. Going to suit the conservative type player, as its high risk rewards. There are trees scattered all over the fairways, great for you mid-range lovers. used every mid and putter I had, very little use for my drivers on this one. but you will have to pull out every shot you got. I like the feeling of the course as there are no signs of city life anywhere.

Also, this course has some of the biggest and nicest teepads as anywhere else I've played. signs were decent with the distance to the hole displayed on a rock. Nice practice basket in the front and a huge map of the entrie course. Also the baskets are in great shape. Traffic is pretty good, seems like more kids than anything play here.

Cons: I kind of wish the holes we're longer, I don't think there is a hole longer than 325. Dont ever get to pull my drivers out except for hole 6, and even then, it's really not needed. baskets can be hard to find, if its your first time here, there will be a few times you have to leave the teepad and go scope out where the basket is. Worst thing I've noticed about this course are the mosquitoes. They are unreal, especially after it rains. BRING OFF!!! Also after normal rain, standing water will remain for atleast a week.
Other Thoughts: Nice course, There are deffinitely better courses on the north side of houston, but if your in the area stop by a check this one out, its a quick 18. Will deffinitely improve your approaches and up shots. Beginners might want to bring a chainsaw =)

Pros: This is a fun course that is very technically challenging. For those people who enjoy trying to shape their shots and don't mind the frustration of hitting trees this is a must play course. This was actually my very first course to play (as some has suggested - not a good idea) and although I was initially pretty frustrated - it kept drawing me back. They've now made a number of improvements to the course - especially on Number 5 which is now very playable.
Cons: This is certainly not a course for beginners as many have mentioned. I still consider myself to be a novice and it can be very frustrating at times. There are also lots of bugs - mosquitos and spiders (and contrary to other reviews - they are Golden Silk spiders (harmless) - not Banana spiders. They are huge though so you will eat a lot of webs. Just remember to swing your disc up and down when going between the trees and you'll be fine. Lots of standing water after rains as well.
Other Thoughts: I've played this course close to 25 times now and it just keeps getting better and better. I've also played McGregor and Tom Bass (the championship course) and I'll take this one over those anyday. Way more fun trying to truly plan your approach to the baskets. Give it a try really and just try and stay patient. You will hit trees but there are rewards to those who can control their shots. Par feels so good!!!
