Pros: u can make ur own course. theres a huge parking lot next to it u can use as a driving range.
Cons: there has been some buildings built on the course and i think they took out some baskets. its really not a disk course anymore.
Other Thoughts: dont waste ur time on this course. spring lake park DG course is close by, go to it.

Pros: Its got some Baskets
Cons: Not Clearly Layed out, Missing Baskets and Tee Markers, Is it Still there?
Other Thoughts: This course has the possability to be a great local course! Its in a nice spot, in a nice park with bathrooms, water and lots of parking. But I looks like some new baseball fields took out some of the course. Hole one is clear, hole two seems clear, but then its labeled as hole 7??? there are three clear baskets on one side of the parking lot and then three or four on the other side. It seemed like it looped around the back side of the base ball field but I ran out of time and temper to check it out. If you are looking for some holes just to go throw, this is your place! like I said a hand full of baskets and you could pick your tee stations. the baskets are ok too.

like I said could be a great course!

Pros: Since the course is part of a park that gets a lot of use, the grass is usually mowed.

Very short, open, no obstacles, no elevation on most holes...could be a plus for beginners or people looking to get in some windy-day practice.
Cons: No map, no bulletin board to know you're in the right spot. No signs pointing to the next hole.

The layout is very boring...if I remember correctly there are only 2 holes with anything closely resembling obstacles (short trees on Hole 1, some OB woods on a later hole). I played this course once, the day we installed wooden tee markers, and could throw a RHBH hyzer on every single hole. The only difficult aspect of the course is the length on 2 holes...there's nothing in between the tee and the basket on these, but it's long enough that the majority if players couldn't reach it for a 2. No variety, no challenge, no shade = no fun.
Other Thoughts: If you're in/near Texarkana and want to play some DG, just skip Grady T Wallace and head straight to Springlake's a MUCH better course and it's only 10 minutes away.

We (the locals) really hope to one day remove the baskets from Grady T Wallace and install them in another park not too far from Dodridge, Arkansas (Alex Smith Park). Unfortunately, due to the details of the grant that provided funds for the baskets at Grady T Wallace, we won't be able to move them for a few more years if at all.
