Good course with trees

Pros: Nice set up on the course. Baskets are in great shape. Great signage on all tees. Concrete pads are really nice, little ruffed up so you don't slip if the pads are wet.

Like all the tees well parred for the distance.

Like the trees makes it a little harder course. Great tunnel shots with all the trees.

Great practice to work on your side arm throw.
Cons: Wish it was an 18 hole course and not 12. You have to watch for people walking around remember it is a park for all people. There is some walking in between some holes in which I think that is ok, some people don't like that.
Other Thoughts: Hardest holes are 1 and 9. 1 is guarded behind some big trees and 9 you have to throw big left to get over the creek or just lay up in the center.

Like I said signs are in great shape, but bring a map for you first time it helps.

Very good course with lots of trees.

I would like to give this course a 3.25.
Will play this course again.

Pros: Well maintained grass park
A nice variety of shots
Nice Tee Boxes & Signs
Made good use of space
Cons: Hard to follow without map
First 6 holes are spread out and jumpy

Other Thoughts: This is a short course that makes good use of space and obstacles. Mandos and OB help make even the easier holes a problem if you shank your shot. Hole #1 and #10 are very tricky with lots of trees which I found fun as it makes you throw a perfect shot. The river can come into play but was low and slow enough that disc retrieval is easy.

Well Designed Wooded Stream Course

Pros: Lots of tree trunks, the stream, and a few out of bounds areas make this course very interesting and fun.
Despite the thin area, this course is well-designed so that errant throws aren't lost, just penalized.
Absolutely gorgeous scenery and a well tended park.
Good maps and signage
Cons: One out of bounds area is the parking lot for the park.
The trail is fairly busy with pedestrian traffic.
Some longer walks between holes.
Other Thoughts: The good design of this course makes me wish that it were 18 holes instead of just 12, but there is only enough space for the 12.

Pros: The Dry Creek Trail Park is a narrow little park which is tucked in between the road and house on the backside. The small creek runs the length of the park and helps provides some challenge and also the trees along it's banks provides shade on hot summer days.

The course has nice amenities. The concrete pads are textured and are shaped so that you always know which way the hole is. That is you're throwing towards the more narrow end of the pad. The Discatchers are in good shape and most have the hole number on top. The tee signs are really nice and clear with hole #, Par, distance and route to the hole. The pars here more or less based for middle school aged players. Either accept that and go for those Eagles or just play everything as a Par three.

The course begins in the middle of the park near the play area. Some fun little throws to be had here.
# 10 was a short little throw which crossed the creek.

Then # 11 playing from an elevated tee, has you throwing a little hyser to the basket down below. Then you finish with # 12 and follow the little trail and cross the rocks that lead over the creek. I wonder what these rocks would like in January? Actually, I was wondering what this creek would be like in the spring? Is there enough water then to actually be hazardous?
Cons: There is a long walk between a couple of holes but I prefer that to having filler holes in between.

I think some of the holes have been slightly changed so the signs are not exactly right but the course is fairly small and easy to navigate, especially with the on-line map.
Other Thoughts: As I was finishing my round, a group of eight was hurrying to finish before dark. Their group consisted of three adult men, a adult lady and four elementary girls. I thought, how cool, to see a group like that out enjoying themselves on one of our disc golf courses. That's what I like about Dry Creek Trail Course, it's a fun and challenging enough course for most of us recreational type players but yet this group of total novices can be out here playing and having a great time.

Pros: -Good tee boxes, easy to find, brushed texture improves grip during throw. Tee pads narrow toward basket, so you always know which direction the hole is in.

-Clear signage with map of hole, length, and mandos.

-Mowed fairways.

-Most holes are good, long shots. Trees are present on all but 3 holes. Good for beginner or intermediate players.

-Good quality DisCatcher baskets, most are marked with the hole number.

-Bathrooms with drinking fountain adjacent to parking lot. (and the bathroom was really nice for a public park!) Also benches throughout the park.
Cons: -Distance between basket and the next tee is quite long on one or two holes. After basket 5, you have to walk the entire distance of hole 2 to get to tee 6.

-Signs for holes 1-6 are correct, but 7-9 do not match the map. Hole 8 has hole 7's sign. No sign on hole 9. Tee 10 has hole 9's sign.

Just follow the map and you'll be fine.
Other Thoughts: Fun, quick play course which is easy to get to from the freeway.

Park with a lot of shade on sunny days, and it is maintained very well. Nice creek running through the middle of the park.

Might want to jump in a tube and float through the park after a couple rounds!

Pros: The course is set in a park that runs along a stream and the trees are well established making for some good obstacles. It's twelve holes and has a good variety of shots.
Cons: On a busy day some of the holes will be taken up with little kids playing in the area. It can make for a hard throw or just skip the hole.
Other Thoughts: It's a fun course to play and it isn't far from the freeway making it a nice little stop along the way home or during a drive.

Pros: There is a little river running along the length of the course which is kinda cool.
Cons: Most holes aren't actually there anymore, and the few baskets remaining are bent or lopsided.
Other Thoughts: It seems like every time I drive by, there's a construction crew doing something. I have hopes that they'll fix the course some day.

Pros: Great 9 hole course and lots of fun to play during a lunch hour! I play this one often during the week. Lots of trees to play through on many holes. Holes 2 and 4 offer an opportunity to reach out there with a longer drive. Hole 8 is fun as you strive for the right angle to go left over the creek and around the trees.
Cons: Only concerns here would be the kids at the park on hole 1 and 6 during the summer. Otherwise a fun course.
Other Thoughts: After many months of this course being closed down, it is now open again!!! If you have not played this course in a while, it's worth a visit. The course now features groomed grass on all holes with trees that are well maintained and a tree canopy that is in the process of being raised all throughout the course. Along with that, there are some new challenges with a lot of new trees that were planted on several holes (most notably on 2,6,7).

The Lehi city parks and recreation guys have put loads of time, effort and money into the improvements for this park. It looks great and is more fun to play than ever before! Also there is talk of getting a possible addition of 3 more holes come spring so stay tuned for more on that!

Pros: Quick little 9 hole with some shots near a little creek. Hole 8 is fun, plays over the creek. Hole two mounds of dirt are gone but what should be the fairway looks like it has taken a beating by some tractors.
Cons: Hole 6 seems tough if people playing at the park.
Other Thoughts: This seems like a small spot that has been well utilized to throw a 9-basket course in at. If you live anywhere nearby its worth stopping in at. Make sure to look course layout over as tee 3 is not visible from basket 2, same with tee 7 from basket 6.

 Fun 9-Hole Course

Pros: It's a fun park with great surroundings. I love playing through the trees and getting a variety of shots that range from a simple flick across an open field to a forced layup on hole 8, (my personal nemesis hole).

The park is in much better condition than previous reviews indicate. The baskets are all there, including the putting one, and aside from a couple that look like the lawn mower smacked them, are in good condition and straight.
Cons: Hole 2 has some dirt mounds in the middle of it. That is better than it was in the past when it was all june-grass, but can be a bit annoying.

Course seems to favor back-handed throwers, so most holes force you to throw right to left.

There is a lot of walking between some holes.
Other Thoughts: The park isn't huge but could easily be redesigned to suit a full 18-hole course. There is a ton of wasted real estate around holes 3 and 4 and in between the long walks.

Overall this is one of the better courses in Northern Utah in my opinion.
