Pros: - Good mix of short & long holes
- Makes good use of trees and buildings for obstacles
- Majority of time it's not a busy park (weekends in the summer there are people camping)
- easy to follow
Cons: - Short Tee Pads
- It is a multi use park, specifically hole 2 & 3 play threw a camp ground
- Some tee signs are incorrect (#3 & #8)
Other Thoughts: Notes: (Things I don't see as cons but added variation to the course)
- a few baskets are a little low
- even on a nice day there is always wind blowing

Overall I think that this is the most challenging 9 hole course in the area its just a little bit out of the way compared to other courses that I don't play it often. Its a good for locals looking to mix things up a bit or i you are traveling it is an easy on/off highway course to play.

 Fun 9 holes

Pros: well laid out course with varying distances.
nice well kept park
good variety of shots
Cons: other park use areas can get in the way
short teeboxes
low baskets
Other Thoughts: good nine hole course, but with freeman park so close it doesn't merit the little extra drive time

Good for such a small area

Pros: - With limited space the baskets still require some skill in throwing different types of shots
- The tees are easy to find
- The grass is well kept and the course is in good condition
- Great for fitting a quick round in
Cons: - The new tees (as of 9/4/2011) are concrete and they are incredibly short and make a decent 3-step approach impossible. I started throwing from the side of the tee just because it was affecting my tee shot so terribly

- Some of the holes interfere with park users (#2, #7 especially)

- The baskets are pretty low to the ground since they are placed in a hole and cement was poured over the base, thus making a portable basket permanent, but also lowering the basket height
Other Thoughts: The course was fun to play but it didn't have enough to offer that would merit a stop between Pocatello (offering Ross park, Bengal Ridge, and Sister City) Blackfoot (Blackfoot DGC), and Idaho Falls (Freeman Park). Overall the course is well kept and it gives the area a nice option other than traveling to the other mentioned places.

Pros: A very fun course they did an awesome job designing it.A couple big holes, good use of the trees and buildings.
Cons: Baskets are a little low.A couple holes have quite a bit of O.B. just makes it more challenging.
Other Thoughts: All in all a very fun course well worth the couple min of the freeway to play some golf and stretch your legs.

Pros: -good signs at each tee
-good variety of obstacles
-doesn't seem too busy
Cons: -the par 5 holes should be par 4
-not very technical except for a couple where you have to avoid man made structures (like a tennis court)
Other Thoughts: played this only once, and it was late in the year so hardly anyone was there, but I get the impression the park isn't usually very full at any time of the year (I'm from around the area). Good place to take beginners, and still worth the 5 minute detour off of the interstate for more advanced players. Great way to take a break from long, boring drives on the interstate in southern Idaho.

 not that bad

Pros: Good variety, not busy when I've been there. Lots of OB and other user conflict makes it much harder than it should be.
Cons: beskets are lightning portables and are cementd ino the ground a bit low (6 inches?). you could kill someone here.
Other Thoughts: I'm not sure why I dont play here more. well worth the stop.

Pros: A fun little course. Good, colorful signs showing the pins and their surroundings, along with the par and distance.

A mix of easy to relatively challenging pins. Holes 2 and 6 are long distance, and considered "Par 5"
Cons: The asphalt tees are very small, and there are some potential conflicts with other park users (such as the RV area, picnic shelters, and the basketball and tennis courts).
Other Thoughts: My first impression was that there was too much conflict with other features, but it turned out to make for some interesting shots, like an elevator over the tennis court fence on #6, or under the picnic shelters on #2 and #8.
