DO NOT PLAY HERE 2+ years

Reviewed: Played on:Dec 27, 2011 Played the course:once

Pros:

well , one basket was in the ground , the basket that was there caught very nice
practiced several shots

Cons:

only one basket in ground, the other that was there was on its side, no baskets on other side of road , no parking , barbe q painted blue like play equipment ,hmmmmm

Other Thoughts:

someone is going to steal the basket that is just lying there

just cant figure out why someone would waste money on baskets to have them located here

Good effort 2+ years drive by

Reviewed: Played on:Dec 20, 2010 Played the course:2-4 times

Pros:

The course plays through a tiny neighborhood park that is flat and has a few scattered trees. The park is nicely taken care of and was in great shape when we played. All 4 baskets were pretty new and caught well. 4 of the 5 tees were well marked with signs showing the two holes that played from each tee with distance and hole map. The pads were natural but were level and in decent shape. The layout is very creative, and makes the most of a tiny space.

Cons:

Because the tees and baskets are shared, you do a ton of extra walking to navigate the course, it's as much walking from basket to next tee as it is to play the course. The tee for hole 4 is not marked, we just made up a spot that seemed logical. A couple holes play really close to the road and to a playground, there are some potential safety issues here. The tees could get pretty muddy and rutted out if this course got much play.

Other Thoughts:

This is a nice kids course or a place for new players to try out the sport. It is very short, so it doesn't offer any real challenges, and there aren't enough trees to really make you throw any different lines. Beginners will have a good time here, with not much punishment for errant shots, and short holes that are pretty straightforward. More experienced players won't find any challenge or variety here.

Nine holes with four baskets?!? 2+ years drive by

Reviewed: Played on:Jul 24, 2009 Played the course:once

Pros:

-good use of extremely limited area (9 "holes" on maybe 3-4 acres)
-course was mowed when I was there (possibly well maintained)
-fun little ace run holes
-some OB to contend with
-unique setup, I've seen 18 holes with 9 baskets but never 9 with 4 baskets

Cons:

-no real parking area (I parked on the street)
-no bathrooms or water fountains
-2nd hole plays near a playground
-no teepad or sign could be found for fourth hole
-course is described as very technical on course info. page. I know that technical is sometimes used as a euphemism for short but this is ridiculous. Just because there is a tree in the fairway and it's short doesn't mean it's a technical course.

Other Thoughts:

-Interesting course, it has 4 baskets, 2 on either side of the road and each teepad plays to both baskets on hat side of the road. 4 is supposed to play to 5 (and 6) basket.
-Fun little beginner course
-It is encouraging to see small communities putting in courses regardless of the size
-this course can be played in less than a half hour so it's a nice little 'stretch your legs' course on a long road trip.
-teepads are paired 1 and 7, 2 and 6
3 and 9, and 5 and 8 with 4 being on it's own. Holes 1, 2, 4,6,7 less than 200', 3,5,8,9 less than 250'
