Pros: The front desk is very welcoming. They offer map/scorecard and pencils to keep your score. Definitely take a map as the course would be difficult to follow without it. The basket and teepads are in great shape (except 14's teepad). The teesigns are big and very informative showing where the patches of trees and other obstacles are. This course will make you utilize all shots in your bag. There are hyzers, anhyzers and straight shots within the course. The course makes good use of the creek and drainage ditch as well. Were there are fences there are big ladders for you to use to retrieve your disc.
Cons: Hole 4/11 (throwing over the drainage ditch) was way over grown. The grass was waist high and tough to get through. The bridge leading to hole 5 was missing and the water was too high for me to cross. I had to walk back to number 8 and pick and play from there. Hole 13?, The long hole throwing along side a small creek with thick brush on the right was a terrible hole. It was 500+ in a narrow fairway that was sloped toward the creek. You could not see the basket so it was a throw and up shot just in a field to be near the basket. The trees surrounding the basket were completely covered in poison ivy.
Other Thoughts: Overall, this is a fun course I would want to play when it was in better condition. The grass and drainage ditch were way over grown. Also, the bridge was missing on 5 which eliminated a few of the risk/reward shots I could have thrown. This is a long challenging course that requires you to put together multiple quality shots to shoot a good score.

Pros: -nice challenge overall
-One of only a few courses on the NW side
-Plenty of parking
-Friendly staff upon check-in. They seem to like having DG'ers out there. Make sure to do so before 5 on the weekdays, after 5 just play.
-Some cool shots for Houston. Decent Elevation changes around creek.
-Best marked Practice Basket in town.
Cons: -Bridge is washed out past hole 4. You will have to cross near the drainage pipe.
-Its hard to see a lot of the pins now in Summer from the TeeBox.
-Overgrowth on holes 5 -8
-Lots of death putts
-easy to lose discs here. Almost did a few times in the trees alone, not to mention the creek.
-Hole 2. That hole sucks
Pigs on 13. Smells worse than a port-a-john
Other Thoughts: This is a nice course overall. Somewhat difficult which is nice as a challenge but not for beginners.

I played this course a bunch in 2011, 2012 and just went back for the first time in a while yesterday. I would say it was a better course before. The bridge is gone cutting off the other side of the creek. Overgrowth makes life difficult in hitting gaps and finding discs. Its a fun track but I wont rush back when there is NCC or Spring Valley somewhat nearby.

Pros: -Front desk has a map/scoreboard for personal use
-Practice/Putting basket on hole 1 with distance markers
-Easy to navigate
-Concrete tee pads
-Ladders to get over fences
Cons: -Yes, there was a pig farm across the ditch, but it shouldn't bother you too much
-Hole 13 is right on the back edge of the pig farm which has a ditch in the middle. It's very narrow and if your disc does land in the ditch it's very overgrown and its quite swampy in the middle
Other Thoughts: It's a great course that starts easy, get's pretty technical quickly, but then eases up with wide open shots at the end. It appears that a lot of planning and effort was gone into designing the course. I understood the course was a little difficult for beginners, but I went anyways and still had a great time; nothing that can't be managed. If you're looking for a great course in the area this is definitely worth checking out.

Pros: Great new course...It is still being built, in fact we talked to one of the builders out there working. Only played the front 9, but course seems challenging. Front 9 is in and out of the trees and crosses a creek that has a pretty steep edge. Hole 8 is a fun hole with a long shot back over the creek.

Will play the full course very soon!
Cons: Course is still new, builder said he "finished" only a few weeks ago. Be sure to get a course map before you start playing as the tees might be a little tough to find.
