Pros: Very attractive park.
Nobody using the baskets.
Bathrooms available on site.
Tennis courts and ball fields and hiking trails and playgrounds also in park.
Cons: Only 5 baskets that I could find and I walked around the park for an hour after finding those. No designated tee areas. The baskets are old and rusty and are not permanent. Where they had been left, there were people lying out on blankets and there was a horse trail running right behind one basket. The ground was marshy even though the rain had stopped 4 days ago.
Other Thoughts: There is potential here but I traveled 30 miles out of my way and it was a big waste of time. I don't know if the other baskets have been stolen or were in storage but even if all 9 had been there, the most I could rate this is a "1". If someone lays out a course with designated tee areas and makes the baskets a bit more permanent (or at least stable), I would consider stopping by (if I was already in the area) and re-appraising it. They were people doing all sorts of other activities in the area including hitting golf balls. I played in March and don't know what it would be like in the summer. But the area is nice.

 Practice and awareness

Pros: Nine baskets and a very nice setting with a decent mix of landscape features.
Cons: No set tees or signs
Other Thoughts: This only rates so low because it isn't actually a course. It is however a fantastic setting in a public park with baskets. I don't expect people to travel to this park to play but raising the awareness with locals could help to get a real course installed. Plus any locals that didn't know now have a fantastic place to come and practice with a wide variety of shot choices. Way better then anything I could set up in my lack of a back yard, and I have my own basket. If I had a park this nice to bring my portable to I would, the fact that this park all ready has the baskets is a win win.
