Better Golf in the Valley
Pros: Dual concrete tees or dual DisCatcher baskets on every hole. Decent signage and navigation. Excellent use of the valley elevation changes starting and ending with a big downhill shot. Good variety of shaping lines in the open and wooded holes. Surprisingly little underbrush to lose your discs. There are some benches and nice views as well. I had Verizon 4G service on the course. 2 other courses on site and other activities. Restrooms and shop by parking lot.
Cons: Only one big loop of holes. Some poison ivy in the edges of the woods. Could use a few more benches. I got chased out of the picnic pavilion near hole 12 by some hornets and was harassed by biting flies half the round. There are some other park activities that take place right next to the course like laser tag, rock climbing, and zip line. Occasional mountain bikers come through.
Other Thoughts: Overall the Valley Course is the best course on site IMO. It's more fun and more technical. Sure the views are not as grandiose, but they are still pretty looking up at the Blue Mountain ridges in the backdrop of a large pond. The course starts and ends with a big fun downhill ace run. There are a lot of uphill holes in between, but occasionally there is a downhill hole mixed in. I'd probably rate the Valley course as a 3.75 or maybe a 4 on it's own. After playing the Skyline course I was tired of playing in the open, so the first 6 holes after hole 1 kind of bored me, then it got better and better and finished really strong. It's kind of a shame the main attraction is the novelty of the Skyline course, but it's understandable.

Pros: Nice layout with up hill, down hill, lefts and rights. Nice views, grassy fairways well maintained. couple nice long down hill shots.
Cons: Mostly up hill.
Other Thoughts: Everyone should Bring a cell phone because some cells don't work up there and you need it to call the office for pick up at the end.
