Pros: Awesome park. Very unique and scenic topography with exposed granite and streams, and plenty of other nice features beyond disc golf. The course has a very pleasant setting and is a great walk.

Despite inaccurate and broken signage, fairly easy to navigate.

A few very fun downhill holes. #14? playing back down a hill near a restroom is super fun, I emptied my bag throwing it.

The park and course is well maintained and there is little risk of losing discs.
Cons: Multiple (not most, but not far from most) holes with poor fairway design. Holes that lack any valid, reasonable route that are more "throw and hope" than risk/reward. The trees are generally widely spaced and there were plenty of fair and interesting routes to navigate them, but the routes on many of the holes left me wondering why they were used. This could be remedied with a chainsaw or by relocating tee pads. As it stands, there often isn't a good line to hit, so you just throw and hope you don't hit a tree. Bad shots often go unpunished.

The longer holes are tweener distance, tough par 3 but too short to be a true par 4.

Signage was mostly destroyed and/or inaccurate for current pin settings. The signs are thin sheet metal and nearly all were broken off above the screw level, meaning the top third of the sign was missing. Signs don't reflect what look like new pin placements.
Other Thoughts: I have played this course twice when passing through Columbus and will continue to play it when travelling through the area. It's a fantastic park, which I think is reflected in many of the higher rated reviews. The setting is awesome. The landscape has great potential for disc golf, but is underutilized. Many of the holes are uninteresting or have major design flaws in that they lack a reasonable fairway. That said, its still fun to play and highly recommend -- but I would not consider it to be among the best courses in Georgia.

Pros: Great Park. Nice layout and very challenging holes.
Cons: Need updated Tee Signs with a description of the holes. We had a hard time finding the basket on several holes or were confused about which basket was in play. Out of bounds markers would be great to if there is OB. Watch out for mountain bikers as the trails run in and out of the course. The course has a good flow but if I weren't with someone who had been here before I would have gotten lost a few times.
Other Thoughts: This is a solid course and with some small improvements will be a real gem. Update the Tee-signs with a picture of the hole. Add additional directional signs to help steer players through the course.
