Pros: The course is set on the campus of a huge camp and bible college so the conditions are very, very good. There is no tall rough in play (or shouldn't be) and there are only a couple spots of thick bushes that may claim a disc.

The course is set up with a good number of shot types in mind and even the shorter holes have their challenge.
Cons: The course isn't marked very well, but the overhead shot linked to this page helped a great deal, and once you figure it's simple and quite well done.

The baskets are from the 70s. Single chain targets with basketball rims and nets as the catcher. Challenging only when putting...they serve their purpose.

Other Thoughts: The place is really nice. We love playing when we go to our friend's family cabin and this course is as good and much closer than the Florence course we normally would go to. It may be in the middle of nowhere and you may get the feeling someone is going to try to convert you, but in Northeast WI...this is a nice place to spend an afternoon.

Pros: Lots of fun to play

Holes aren't long (with a couple exceptions)

Fairly open for most holes
Cons: No tee boxes

No signs

Old baskets (single chain/basketball nets for catchers)

Not a lot of opportunity to stretch out shots

Not a very technical course
Other Thoughts: I have played this course with just my putter before and only shot +4 I think. Most of the kids who come for camp are going to be DGers and there are only a handful (maybe 10) college kids who are. Based on that, this is a pretty well laid out course for its purpose, Though it needs some improvements.

Pros: A few ace opportunities, variety of shots required, enough trees to keep it interesting without being frustrating, basic enough for beginners but still challenging for the experienced, never too busy
Cons: Old baskets, no alternate pin locations, no cement tee boxes, no map and few markings
Other Thoughts: It's a great course for having little to no money invested into it. There is a small but enthusiastic group of Northland staff and friends who play it often.
