Pros: Great Course to Play when constricted on time.
Nice variety of play, trees can either help you or ruin your day,c ouple of holes have nice open areas, while others provide nice tight tree lines to test your skills.
Cons: Can get busy, especially on weekends.
Changed the 18th hole and now has a water hazard in play on the left, this isn't a problem for experienced players, but have watched many newer players lose a disc to the pond.
No tee markers, but have maps located at the first and third hole, and most people can figure out their way to the next hole.
Other Thoughts: Great quick course, offering a variety of play when you only have an hour to get some discing in. If you are traveling through Kzoo, and have the time definitely worth a stop, especially if you have already played some of the areas bigger courses.

Pros: Great use of the land that wasnt being used
great pin placements
allows you to get good drives off
makes you think about your shot ahead
the middle of the course reminds me of Cold Brook
Cons: a few blind shots where you dont know if anyone could be walking past
a lot of really wide open shots
Other Thoughts: Im glad that this course was put in. it's really close to my parents house so when i come home i have a place i can get a quick round in and not worry about driving 30 mins or so away. love the fact that it reminds me of my home course of Cold Brook in Climax Mi.

Pros: Baskets are new. Only public course in Portage. Very quiet spot next to the Air Zoo. Air Zoo is free to look around in and the space and science building is just down the road. Get to see airplanes taking off a few hundred yards away. Only 9 holes installed right now, 1-2, 12-18. They are all fair and fun shots. When this course is completely done it will be 4 stars because it is it will be well taken care of and a fun course to play anytime. Right off i94 anyone passing through will be able to go to a course about a mile off the freeway.
Cons: Somewhat easy. Hole two is a hidden pin. Some of the tees are kind of close to other holes.
Other Thoughts: When this course is complete it will be a fun one to play. I can tell by the property there will be interesting shots on soon-to-come holes 3-11. Can't wait! Local club plans on doing work as soon as possible. Even in the snow.
