It is what it is
Pros: There are three baskets in good shape on a grassy hillside next to the school. The elevation adds some challenge and fun, especially for new players. The grounds are nicely kept, with mowed grass and no trash or vandalism. There's a lot of potential for setting up different length holes to all three baskets, with plenty of room around them. This is a great practice area to work on putting and upshots, and there is enough room to throw some drives too if no other activities are going on.
Cons: As a practice area, this is decent, but as a course it's really not interesting at all. It's wide open without a single tree, so the only possible challenge is wind. We couldn't find any of the tees, if they're ground level markers I think they've grown over with grass. The course is probably not playable if there are any extracurricular activities going on at the school.
Other Thoughts: I love the idea of exposing kids to the sport, and this is fine for that purpose. It would be easy for gym teachers to use flags or cones to set up tees and make a course for elementary aged kids. Experienced players can definitely use this as a practice area, I would love to have something like this near me to practice approaches and putting on real baskets.
