Nice for a small course 2+ years drive by

Reviewed: Played on:Dec 24, 2015 Played the course:2-4 times

Pros:

Well kept course, I've only been during the holidays, so no one was at the school and we had the whole course to ourselves, which was nice. Nice for ace runs and birdies. Mostly just putter and midrange throws, but it's nice to have to play like that every so often.

Cons:

There isn't much variety, but that isn't a big deal, it is a Middle School campus, they wouldn't have ever made a championship level course. Tee pads are just dirt, and nothing really just makes you say wow that's great. I've only played it when it was stupid windy, which made it more difficult than it should've been, but still wasn't hard to make birdies.

Other Thoughts:

Nice little course, if you want 18 easy holes, play here and Tillies Park, which is just about 5 mins away and is very similar in course design, except not as nice of a place. Great for beginners to have a open place to just throw.

Good to work on consistency 2+ years drive by

Reviewed: Played on:May 3, 2014 Played the course:5+ times

Pros:

Well kept. Even on a windy day, trees won't be a big factor. Grass maintained and field is open. I like to throw multiple discs on each hole and it's hard to loose track of any discs. Not very busy and baskets are far from pedestrians.

Cons:

Tees are rubbish. Expect to drive on tree roots. Only 9 holes and they're all pretty short. Still fun but you may want to consider playing a few rounds or use it as a warm up for other courses.

Other Thoughts:

Good for birde practice or if you get a good drive you can ace a few holes. Give it a chance and don't condem it for being short. It is on a Jr. High campus after all.

Fun practice course 2+ years drive by

Reviewed: Played on:May 3, 2014 Played the course:2-4 times

Pros:

Short course at a middle school. Mostly straight shots to the basket with a few trees on some. Good chance for an ace. Multiple birdie opportunities. Located in a nice part of the city near downtown.

Cons:

Rubber tee pads on top of big roots.

Other Thoughts:

If you're driving through the area outside school hours it's a great place to practice. Glad to see some disc golf at a school!

Typical Middle School Course 2+ years

Reviewed: Played on:Dec 15, 2013 Played the course:once

Pros:

The course is set on the poroperty of junior high school with a few hills in play to add to the challenge as well as a few trees to shape your lines. Course has rubber tee pad and decent signage. The signs are very simple yet effective with just hole number and distances on them(Can see the baskets from the tee). Course distance ranged from 190' to 315'. Only took me 15 minutes to play, grabbed a buzz and putter.(both glow as it was gettting dark and ran the course) They definetly used what the could out of the property.

Cons:

Not much for variety mainly just hyzer around a tree or two(RHBH or RHFH). Course is mainly open and doesn't punish and errant shot.

Other Thoughts:

Its a junior high course, its great for beginners and new people, not meant for a seasoned player. Most people will play this course just to check it off.(I did) Great introductory course but that's about it.
