Pros: -Good for beginners
-Course typically does not have a lot of players on it
-Probably could ace any hole out here with the right throw
Cons: -Boring course that offers little challenges
-all holes the same, wide open
-only 9 holes
Other Thoughts: This course is rather boring with all the holes feeling like the same wide open set up. Good for beginners but i wouldn't go out of my way to play this course.

Pros: Almost always have the course to yourself, good if you're just starting out and self conscious, good if you want to practice long drives.
Cons: Bad tee pads, because it's not played much and walked on, the grass can get fairly long, can't play during school hours, sometimes practices are going on and cars are parked near the 8th and 9th holes.
Other Thoughts: This course isn't worth much of a drive. But I live about 5 minutes away so no complaints there. It's a good course to practice throwing if you're a beginner. Because it's rarely played you can really take your time and don't have to worry about being rushed.

Pros: Little traffic
Good baskets
Cons: Usually very soggy
No tee pads
Little to no difference hole to hole
Course cannot be played during school hours/events
Other Thoughts: To be completely honest, this course downright is just bad. Mostly mid-long holes in a wide open field. Very little trees or slope changes make this course not worth the drive unless you live very close and want to get in a quick round. The school did the best they could to put a course in these grounds, but all they could make distance practice course.

 It Is What It Is

Pros: Bellbrook Middle School is a fun little practice course that makes the most of an unimpressive plot of land. Consisting of 9 holes more or less in an open field, the BMS course may not look like much at first glance, but the design has incorporated every interesting feature of the land. Playing to a basket on a ridge or semi-protected by a building is always more interesting than 9 straight, flat 300 foot holes. Of course it's not award-winning design, but it's the best that can be done in this situation. Particularly of interest is the downhill Hole 8, which plays from an elevated area by the baseball fields to a courtyard next to the school building. Occasionally stiff headwinds on the tee give way to complete calm in the shadow of the building, playing havoc with what would otherwise be a gimme hole.

This course is rarely played, so you'll often find yourself enjoying a quiet, private round. Even better for a casual glow round!

All 9 holes feature DISCatchers in good shape.
Cons: The course is what it is: a 9 hole field course. No world-class design or amenities here.

No teepads to speak of here. Each "pad" consists of four paver stones that serve more as markers than anything else, so you'll want to tee off from alongside for obvious reasons. Use them to set your bag down when the ground is wet.

No tee signs either. You'll have to use the map and your navigation skills to find the teeing areas the first time you play.

Some young saplings and tall grasses can be found here and there, but neither really make for passable obstacles.

It's nice to have the building incorporated into the design for variety's sake, but you'll want to avoid hitting a window or throwing your Hole 9 tee shot onto the roof.
Other Thoughts: To my knowledge, this course was developed in partnership with the Innova EDGE program. It's cool to have the baskets here, as it's the only school grounds course in the area.

As sisyphus mentioned, the long distances may be a bit much for middle schoolers, but they keep the course from being a total dud for the rest of us. If you're local and looking for a way to practice drives and windy play, this is a definite step up from throwing on a football field. Practice your game in peace and quiet and have a little fun while you're at it.

Pros: This nine hole course laid out in the otherwise unused field areas of Bellbrook Middle School's abundant acreage allows for the Intermediate player to really bomb out some long drives. For those of us with 300 feet (plus or minus), deuces are juuust out of range on most of these holes. The course (mostly) keeps safe lines from errant throws, which would be good for the, shall we say, 'energetic' age group intended. There are really nice Innova discatcher baskets here, each numbered and ready to catch your shots. There is a little patio near the 8th & 9th with a bench or two if you need to rest up. There is plenty of parking available outside of school hours (when the course is available for casual play).

There really isn't much here in the way of obstacles to shape lines or elevation to work with, but holes 6 and 7 play somewhat near the perimeter rough, and hole # 8 actually does have a little bit of a drop to it. Oh, and the map seems to be correct for the most part, but I'm pretty sure hole #4 is closer to 240' than 326' (and I'm glad of it, to have a little variety).
Cons: This course could really use some tee signs, since each tee consists of from four to six 15" concrete paver stones, usually laying on top of the surface (some seem to have been inset for safer footing, but none are large enough to really constitute a proper tee box). Occasionally, the tee can be found by looking for a small orange cone, but not all tees had these. Follow the map and you will be likely to find the tees. To find the #6 tee, for instance, look back to the left, well past a small bush.

The unusual crossing fairways on 8 & 9 seem a little odd, considering the huge amount of space here. The #9 fairway passes very close to the previous basket, then hyzers (rhbh) just past the corner of the building (where the winds plus an errant throw could land one on the roof), near a window (it's conceivable that a high speed driver could hit that just right, er wrong), and out over the blind corner of the gravel path.

Being out in the field area, the likelihood of frequent maintenance is limited, and in fact, there were tall grasses and weeds poking up into the baskets the weekend after school let out, when I played here. But the vegetation is sparse, so even brushing your calves, the course is playable.
Other Thoughts: The thought that keeps occurring to me is that the hole distances here seem a bit much for 13-14 year olds, but the immensity of the course means a decent gym class workout for the kids. I may be wrong, but the designer may have been placing these in his distance range? There's not a whole lot to work with on the school property in terms of forcing line shaping, so most competitive disc golfers won't find much enjoyment out here (except maybe working on their long game, when the ground is dry). But I always believe having some nice baskets on school grounds anywhere, any way, is good for growing the sport, so I hope the students enjoy having nine long holes to play with.

Pros: 9 hole layout behind Bellbrook Middle School, looks harder than it is, very scenic at night. Teepads consist of 4 blocks put together.
Cons: last 2 holes are near windows, otherwise nice practice course, has some distance on the last few holes.
Other Thoughts: itd be nice if they add a few more holes in the woods, nice little 9 holes to do in 30 mins though.
