Pros: This little 9 hole course plays around the baseball and soccer fields at Zeeland Christian School. The course designer did what he could with the space available. Unfortunately, the soccer and baseball fields take up most of the room here leaving the disc golf course with the scraps or this case, basically the perimeter of the school grounds. Despite what each of the previous reviewers has mentioned, you sometimes can play this course when there are activities going on. Today, there were about 30-35 soccer players having a practice. I was able to play without getting in their way.

There are no tees only kckboards, some of which have the hole # and distance routered into the board. Later holes didn't have this feature. The kickboards were a little tough to locate. The baskets are Disc Nation. They're fine for this course.

I liked # 2, the short downhill Ace Run of 165'. Everyone is correct when they write this hole would not be playable during baseball games. The next tee arrow painted on the concrete here was very helpful. # 3 had both A and B tees painted on the sidewalk. As # 3 is a tight window with woods on the right and baseball fence on the left, I personally would have shortened this hole considerable to take the woods out of play.

I did not like hole 5. It's a 218' hyser throw that mirrors the outfield fence but it's too tight for kids. Aldo, there is danger on the right side with thick rough with a creek in there. Also, # 9 was a pretty sad design. It plays along the top of the ridge 188' to a basket tucked around the small building there. Every student will hyser down the hill. I tried a tricky roller shot trying to avoid thumping anyone. It didn't work well.

Cons: Yes, there are a few. The course has lots of safety problems. Basically every hole could be hazardous to someone when there are activities going on.

I think there are some pretty tight looks for an elementary/middle school course.

Very little challenge for anyone past beginner level.

Places to lose your discs.
Other Thoughts: # 2 was a fun throw. I didn't much care for the other 8 holes. They were either standard issue or too tight or had borderline safety issues. This is a course that could always be closed or have 2-3-4 holes shut down. You wouldn't want to drive too far to play here, unless of course you are a career course bagger and then you plan accordingly and you somehow get your 9 holes in.

Pros: Easy to find the holes and navigate around the course.

has wooden boards used as teesigns/teepads.

Nice newer baskets.

Good Practice course and nice to see courses in school area to bring younger kids into the game.
Cons: Works in a multi use park(School) so it kind of plays in with baseball field / playground and other things.

All holes are pretty wide open, it was super windy when we went making it hard to play without using OS discs. Also makes for no real challenge.

Other Thoughts: This course isn't really anything special, but it's good for the growth. Some holes are a little dangerous depending on time of day.

1.4 miles down the road is a lot nicer of a course, but this would be a good warm up course, but not much besides that.

Pros: - Zeeland's 9-hole course consists of mostly short, open, beginner friendly holes that wind ridiculously through every other park activity (including basketball, tetherball, soccer, baseball bleachers, baseball, walking paths, through the soccer again, and then to top it all off, 9's the signature hole with a spike hyzer up and over the concession stand and port-a-john to a pin tucked blindly in a spike hyzer kill zone.
- A bit of elevation, albeit on very short holes (#2 plays down a slight incline with bleachers ridiculous close to the pin, and #8 plays back up the grassy berm).
- Wooden boards in ground with fairly accurate distances and hole numbers. Natural tees present no drawback in this open short setting.
Cons: - Ho boy. This course winds though every other park activity. If ANY other people are doing ANYTHING, then the course is dangerously overlapping; play pretty much halts if the park is crowded. Right off the bat, hole #1 basically threads a short putter shot through tetherball and basketball poles, for example.
- Open, short, and very easy.
Other Thoughts: - They tried, and the little bit of elevation as well as the one hole that is a bit longer (#3; around 330') save this from being a complete waste, but over all this course is a disaster from a safety standpoint. Also, anytime you have the possibility of showing up to a course and having it unplayable due to overlap with other activities, it really detracts from the overall experience.

Pros:
Aesthetic--plays through a school yard, around a baseball/softball field and up and down a small hill. A LOT of other things going on here but most of the holes are set away from the other activities.

Baskets--new DN Liberty's, still not 100% on these baskets. the "curved" top annoys me for some reason.

Routing/nav--easy. the only issue could be 2 to 3, but someone has nicely painted #3 tee on the path to the 3rd tee
Cons:
Challenge-not really much challenge. I mean I guess missing people, cars and school equipment could be considered a challenge.

Dangerous--in places this could be a dangerous course, but you should NOT be throwing much for drivers here in the first place.

Variety- - there really isn't any trees or anything else standing in your way. mostly flat with the exception of 2 and 8 which play down and up the hill (respectively)

Teepads--not really a huge con. The tee areas aren't rutted or anything and I doubt they will become rutted.
Other Thoughts: nice for practice or whatnot. not really for higher tier players.

Pros: -Easy to navigate
-Baskets are easy to find
-Some holes are nice and long (335 feet the longest)
-Easy course great for beginners and practice.
-Uphill shot on eight is a challenge.
Cons: -Not much room for expansion growth of course.
-Tees are boards nailed to the ground. (they do have hole # and distance however)
-Course has a few holes that are in school playground area.
Other Thoughts: Nice course in my hometown. Just wondering if its going to be opened to play during the school year as parking is in the school parking and some holes play thru the playground areas.
