Great Course. Long and difficult for beginners. Can definitely lose discs in some of the thickets.

Baskets and tee pads are missing for a few holes, especially the furthest from the parking lot. It's fallen into disrepair. Dani and Dylan were quite active in keeping things up but have since moved on and it seems no one really picked up the care. It is a big, expensive course to maintain in the late spring/summer because of how tall the grass gets and how thick the bushes can be, so that is perhaps why.

The front 9 offers a good variety of shots. The first few are open and get you prepared for the challenge ahead. The next few holes are very uphill and require you to adjust the angle of your shots. There are also a few narrow tunnel shots.The back 9 come back downhill, so you get to bomb some of your drives. The shorter holes require big an/hyzers, so there are no "simple" holes. Many shots could be either forehand or backhand throws, so you get to be creative.

The course is located in a huge, beautiful park. I played at the end of summer and the wildflowers were remarkable. If you enjoy a beautiful setting, this course delivers.

You have to pay attention to every shot and use trees/bushes to mark your landing. The grass was knee-high when I played, which means you can be 5 feet from your disc and still not see it.

I had UDisc+ with me, which guided me through the holes - otherwise I would never have found most of the tees or baskets. Definitely take a picture of the map (across the field from the 1st tee) before starting, but even that may not be enough. Email the course directors to meet up with another player or get advice on the layout.

During spring and summer, bring bug repellent - I got bit several times and spent too much time swatting away mosquitoes.

The tee pads are natural earth and well-marked. There are helpful maps at each tee so you have an idea of the distance and recommended flight path to the basket.

The terrain is pretty rugged, so bring good shoes. You will not get through this course in sandals (like I used back in San Diego).

I met 3 other players during my round. They were all very friendly and helpful since they had played the course before.
