Long and beautiful

Pros: * Long holes with some great views
* Most holes had some really nice tee pads. Notably #6 which also had the number in the ground in stone.
* Not very crowded. I didn't have to wait on any holes
* #1 and #10 are close together which is nice if you are trying to get in a quick 9 or want to start on the back 9 if the front is crowded.
Cons: * Completely wide open on most holes
* Lots of downed trees
* Some baskets were hard to see from the tee. That would be solved with a 2nd play through anyway.
Other Thoughts: I had more fun on this course than Queenstown Gardens. It wasn't quite as pretty or central to Queenstown, but this course captured more what disc golf is all about in terms of hole length and course design. I felt like I was playing disc golf on this course where Queenstown Gardens felt more like pitch and putt. If I were to go back to Queenstown to play one course, it would definitely be this one. It was a bit difficult to get out to given that is was winter time, but I'm really glad I got to play it.

Secluded, challenging, and stunningly beautiful, plus sheep!
Pros: All holes now have baskets and simple maps/lengths, tee boxes range but most are very good, some fun long holes, views are incredible, sheep pastured on the course for true NZ experience.
Cons: Not easy to find others to play with, last 500 meters to parking lot can be a mess, sheep poop
Other Thoughts: I really love this course. Great for more experienced players as it gives you a chance to break out the big driver's you left in the bag in Queenstown. Its always so quiet you can play at whatever pace you want. One of my favorite all time courses.

Better than Expected
Pros: - Map available online
- Fairly well marked Tees using stacked rocks and pavers as toe boards.
- Fairly easy to follow course layout.
- Well defined targets(PVC Pipes), and a mix of baskets
- Scenic Jetover River surroundings
- Layout loops after 9 and 18.
- Good variety on hole lengths
Cons: - no Info kiosk, or posted map at course. If you weren't there to play the course you likely wouldn't know it was there.
Other Thoughts: Came to this course after playing Queenstown Gardens and wasn't expecting much since it was a object course. We were pleasantly surprised. The course was well designed and had good definition and markings. Most if not all tees were marked with stacks of stones and toe line pavers, and I think a little number sign. This made the course really easy to follow. The course is a mix of baskets and objects (mostly PVC Pipes) and I believe they had markings for basket height to hit between. There was one tree object. The course loops back to the start after 9 and 18 which is nice. Though when you pull up if you weren't looking for the course you probably would over look it as there is no kiosk or signage say it's there. The course is in a nice flat area next to the Jetover River with nice view of the river and the mountains around it. We were able to catch a couple of the jet boats doing tricks in the river.
