- Free to play
- Free Grocery store parking
- Conveniently located for quick rounds
- Course map at park entrance
- Tee signs with basket orientations and distances
- Brightly visible baskets in decent condition
- Ace runs!
- Short short 9, not a lot of versatility
- Walking trail goes straight through the course
- Natural unmarked tee pads
- Tee signs were laminated paper sheets of paper stapled to posts
- Tee post & sign for 9 is missing
- Back side of course is prone to flooding with runoff from the road and parking lot
- Errant throws can land in a busy roadway of over fencing
- No real fairways
Other Thoughts:
This is a very short pitch-n-putt type course. I'm not really sure what the name of the course is, there seems to be some conflict between the signage. The course itself is boxed in between a grocery store parking lot, apartment parking lot, a building, and busy roadway. There is a 2 car parking space at hole one, but the parking lot of Carrs/Safeway grocery store is probably the easiest to use.

It's actually a decent course layout for the land available. I could see it being a great place to kill time while someone else is shopping, but that's about it. I'd much rather throw Kenai Eagle than Bernie/Ryan trail/creek if I'm in the area.

Pros: Close to town.
Quick little course you can play on a lunch break.
Within walking distance to Airport. (I catch a round occasionally while I wait for a flight)
Good variety of shot types, in a fairly tight wooded area. Water hazard shot. Moose hazard shots.
Cons: On walking paths.
Water hazard is a disc eater.
No holes to stretch your arm on..(short and tight)
Other Thoughts: I enjoyed playing here. Can't complain about any course in Alaska since there are not many to choose from. Not worth a road trip but, should give it a play if you are in town, or if you are going to play Kenai Eagle DGC.
