Pros: Typical City Park course with not a lot of length, solid concrete tee pads, mature trees, adaquate signage, and easy to navigate.
All the concrete pads were numbered.... so the fact that the #3 sign was missing was not a problem.
Pads were good sized.
Course was definitely fun to play... couple of ace run possiblities and definite birdies to be had.
Lot of trees, but plenty of openings.
Cons: Reconfiguration has some fairways crossing... specifically 5 and 6.
Course crams the holes into the limited space... possibility of hitting others is there.
Older baskets.... I didn't have issue, but I can see where other reviewers found them challenging for longer throws.
Tee for 9 faces straight down the line, while the basket is at about 10 o'clock in relation to the tee.
Other Thoughts: If you've read any of my other 50+ reviews, it's all about the fun factor that determines my ratings.
My 13 y/o daughter and I played while on break from her volleyball tourney, which is why we were in town...
We both loved it!! Nice walk.... managable throws.. easy to navigate.
Upgrade the sgnage and baskets and this moves to over a 3 easily!!

Pros: Small course with easy short holes. Enough trees to keep it fun but not enough to make it overly challenging
Cons: Signs are there but little to no information is on them. Some tee pads point the wrong way after baskets were moved.
Baskets are old and not well maintained. Some posts have most of the dirt eroded away
Other Thoughts: For being one of the oldest courses in the state, it needs some help to regain some of its past glory

Pros: Love this course, I've played it many times and though it is only 9 holes, it is a lot of fun.
+Little to no risk of loosing a disc
+paved Tee pads
+easy to navigate
+flat terrain, few obstacles
Cons: -ridiculous amount of foot traffic, the ozark flying disc club holds meetings at random so you never can plan on a time the course will be free
-yards butt right up to the course, so if you shank a disc, you might have to pop into someone's yard
-not every tee lines up with its basket, so some drives are awkward.

Pros: Good concrete tees.
Always short grass and maintained grounds.
Good course for putting and midrange work.
Can be played in thirty minutes if needed.
Cons: Older baskets reject longer shots.
Trash litters fairways.
Drives can go into private property if not careful with the hyzer.
Other Thoughts: Good course to play if you're in a hurry or just want to shoot a quick round. I'd like to see some updated baskets (I know DGM in SGF is working on that), but they like the original for character.

 neat old coarse

Pros: A cute old coarse ( 1979) in a nice neighborhood concrete pads ( although some dont point the right direction)
Cons: signage and tee pads could be updated, a little crowded , surrounded by houses
Other Thoughts: I like this coarse, it has history, people have been tossing plastic here since " steady Ed" laid this thing out 35 years ago.. Its short, you can play nine holes in 40 minutes,Its easy to go under par, you dont need drivers, its a good place to practice up on approach and putting...not the most challenging but a pretty good time ..

 Fun Course

Pros: -Concrete tees
-Short grass makes discs easy to find
-Solid baskets marked with hole numbers
Cons: -Crowded
-Trash on a lot of the holes
-All short holes
-Tee order not well marked
Other Thoughts: Small course, looks very cramped at first but the wholes are set up to allow some good shots. None of the holes are very lengthy, but trees in the park make for some fun and interesting shots. There may be nicer courses around, but this one is fun and worth a play.

Pros: Concrete tees. 9 holes. Optional pro holes marked with little square rock(however I haven't found all of them yet. Nice baskets. Lots of parking. Friendly people.
Cons: Where to start. There might be a lot of cons, But this is still the most enjoyable course near MSU.
1.Lady that lives at the end of Hole5 had a lot of "stuff" in her yard and isn't willing to help you get your disc back.
2.Hole 2, I had the problem for a few years shanking my shots to the right and land in every yard. Most years on hold to are accessible, However there are a few stops where you will lose a disc FOREVER
3.Hole 7. I hate that hole. All years accessible except the Black spiky gate yard directly to the right of the tee( don't ask, terrible shot)
4. Crowded After 3pm
5. Crowded Until Sunset
6. Did i mention Crowded
7. Lots of dog walkers
8.Mostly shorter style holes
Other Thoughts: everyone is friendly beside hole5 lady and a few people on hole 2 side. Not very challenging, but a fun course for everyone. My everyday course. I play closer to sunset time and drive an orange katana, feel free to join.

Some people don't know what Four means. (ie: lots of beginners)

Pros: Good location, no shrubbery or tall grass.
easy to navigate. Nice tees
Cons: Tees aren't always lined up with pins
too easy to play
lots of people
ugly signs, if you can read em at all
Other Thoughts: This is a good course if you live nearby... not worth a drive to play it again, though.

Pros: Very few. Holes are short/tight so it doesn't take long to play. Low possibility of losing a disc.
Cons: Baskets are FUGLY (that's f'n ugly!!)!! Tee boxes ARE cement BUT are pointed in the wrong direction in some cases due to baskets being moved. Signage might as well be taken down - they are FUGLY also.
Other Thoughts: Could be upgraded and be a MUCH nicer little course. The 1.5 passable was generous!

 My Favorite Course

Pros: You have to understand that part of my rating is that the park is just a few blocks from home.
Challenging fairways with lots of trees.
Most of the yards have gates on the park side which makes for easier disc retrieval.
Cons: "B" Tees are not all marked. Some have stone markers, but others are just worn places.
Other Thoughts: It helps to make friends who know the "B"s. Everyone I've met there has been most willing to show me.
