If you can throw the disc more than 100 feet, all these holes will feel like Par 2\'s. Only 2 holes have any obstacles, nothing longer than like 150 feet. Great for beginners or if you want to practice putting. Located in front of a school so beware school hours.

Safe area. No fear of losing a disc to any hazards. On school property so it's kept in good shape!
Ok course if you're in the area, but not a destination.

As others have noted, no signs pointing you to the next hole(I would say 'tee', but there's also no kind of teepad). I didn't check online first for a map because I figured ' It's just nine short holes all visible from one spot. It will be easy to figure out!' Wrong! I parked and walked up to basket #9. Not seeing any kind of starting point I just threw to the closest basket which turned out to be #6(or was it #8? I'm still confused!). I gave up trying to figure it out and spent an hour just throwing to whatever basket I thought was next.

Really, other than being confusing and lack of teepads there's not much you can complain about a course on school property. It's 9 easy holes set-up in what I'm now thinking was a circle pattern that would be a great place to get somebody to try disc golf who might feel intimidated by a larger course(or students at the school obviously). I went on a summer day because I knew school wouldn't be in session and I had an errand to run that put me just a few miles from this place. I've been playing for just over a year and only brought two discs- my midrange and a putter. Honestly, I only needed the putter and even then I was over-throwing many baskets. I wouldn't consider myself a power-thrower by any stretch either!

I give this course a 1.5 rating because despite it's SHORTcomings(pun intended) it's kept in good shape and disc golfers are welcome(I'm assuming we are) so long as school is not in session. Great place to practice your putting/approach game and not much else in the immediate area. Thank you Raymond Park for providing a place for disc golfers!

9 nice baskets on the front lawn of Raymond elementary school . The baskets are all viewable from the first tee . The course runs clockwise ( sort of ) and you are assured of a quick round or 2 from this 9 basket course . The trees on the front lawn were utilized to at least make some of the holes semi challenging in a couple of spots

One thing that I dislike in a course is no inking of a teepad . They mostly could have been drawn with chalk on the ground , maybe a toeboard in the ground . Although it has an online map , it was hard to figure a starting point for a tee off . You would likely be asked to leave during school hours , so play this course on the weekend or during the summer . The course would only be good as an intro to the game .

Not a destination course or an add on , either . Only if you are bagging courses do you want to stop here , unless you just bought your first disc and wanted to try it out , or you go to school here . Still , they are trying and this course is still fairly new .

Easily accessible off the highway, this nine hole, middle school course boasts decent 18 chain DGA baskets with number plates, and distances ranging from 115 to 245 feet, meaning it's scaled for casual players (or I suppose, for competitive players who want to pitch and putt a few ace runs). Using the map added here on dgcr, there actually are a few interesting lines to throw around trees and other obstacles, so you can work some on shaping your approach shots. If you designate the driveway as OB, or define some trees as mandos, you might actually feel like half the holes become short par 3's.

But there isn't much in the way of elevation, there aren't any tees or signs (the number plates on the baskets face in random directions, too), and there isn't any real challenge for players above the Novice level.

Obviously, this is a school ground course, and should not be played during school hours (except maybe by students in gym class!). Kudos to ajbova for drawing up a reasonable map of the course, complete with some reasonably challenging lines, rather than going with the basket to basket 'sample course layout' in the pictures.

Baskets - 9 brand new grippy DGA baskets. Can play course backwards for 18 total holes.

Great course for new players or for skilled players wanting to try a new mid range disc.

The longest hole is 250 so this course is great for starters or if you need a boost in confidence. For $100 pavers or markers could be purchased which would give this course established throw pads.

Basket to Basket this course is a 1.5. It could easily be improved. With a few paver stones or rocks to designate tees for each hole, this course could immediately be improved. There are several potential lines that would boost this courses image.

If this course had two tees per hole (even with natural tees) and had signs, it would be between a 2 and a 2.5. Basket to basket provides short holes, there is room to make the holes longer and more challenging. There is a lot of room for potential including lots of solid lines.

Not a destination course but would be a great starter course. It's on the property of Raymond Park Middle School so it has a lot of visibility.
