Nicely Kept Course
10 Helpful / 0 Not
Pros: -Baskets OK
-Signage OK (DGA Peel 'n Stick)
-Good Map
-Couple of blind shots (one left / one right)
Cons: -Natural tees
-In 2 sections (see map)
-Hole #4 tees across the road to the parking lot
-Not much for trees to work around, mostly wide open
Other Thoughts: Harmony DGC plays in 2 sections of park on the west side of Harmony, MN. An average park style course with the basics for signage and baskets. A mostly wide open course with a few trees to work around. The most interest comes from a right fade around a line of trees on #3 and a left fade around a maintenance building on #6. Other than the throw over the road on #4, there are no real hazards with play staying away from the playground. There is a walking trail that runs diagonally splitting the course, but it would only come into play behind the #9 basket. First play helped having the map along, but navigation isn't too bad. A nicely kept course that I would play again if in the area.

Nice surprise

Pros: Easy to navigate, good signage.
Some use of trees.
Minimal elevation changes.
Better holes- #3 Big dog leg right around some pine trees. (was a bit marshy in the lower fairway area the day I went)
#6- a blind throw, dog leg left.
Cons: No tee pads. Just tee off near the signs.
Lots of wind!!
#4 throws across the park road.
Long walk from #5 to #6 across the municipal truck parking area.
Other Thoughts: Cute little course. Spotted it on a road trip from the main road I was on. Glad I stopped. Would take another crack at it and hope for less wind!!

Harmony

Pros: +9 baskets in a very under served area
+Clean park
+Good navigation
+Map after hole 5
Cons: -First 5 holes play around the main park, last 4 are across the city truck parking lot (follow the bike trail across the road)
-The only map is after hole 5
-Not much elevation change at all
-Very few obstacles, very little shot shaping required
Other Thoughts: This would be a good beginner course, not too difficult, no chance of losing any discs unless you really shank your drive. That being said I would not go out of my way to play this course again.
