  Fun Course

Pros: - 3 tees and pins on each hole
- Balance of long and short holes (most are Par 4)
- Brand new DISCatchers
Cons: - Tee pads are rubber mats that have holes in them. The problem is grasses growing through them.
- Long grass provides problems if fairways are missed.
-this has been cut back and should now be well kept
Other Thoughts: The best thing going for this course is the design of it. It makes great use of the land, in my opinion. Generally an open course that will test your ability to gauge your upshot. A few wooded holes provide the "shotmaker" a leg up on the distance thrower. The things holding the course back from being top notch: 1) Continued maintenance of the fairways and 2) different teepads (either solid rubber teepads or the always reliable concrete.)

Pros: Improved in the last 3 months. This course has a lot of potential.
Cons: Weeds growing up through tee pads and uneven.
You have to search to find your way around. Needs more markers to direction of next tee.
Keep an eye out, as not to step in a Ground Hog hole, there are a lot of them.
Other Thoughts: This could be a very nice course if more improvements are made. Time will tell to see if it will be regularly mowed next season. It was not this year.

Pros: 18 baskets in good condition. Long challenging holes - mostly open but some fun wooded holes. Nice park. Navigation is much clearer now. Good tee signs. Can also get in the Grove City 18 holes nearby.
Cons: Mostly long and open (only a few wooded holes). When grass isn't cut, you are better off skipping some of the holes. Doesn't drain well.
Other Thoughts: I played a few years ago and the fairways were mostly cut out of deep shule from which it is very hard to find/retrieve your disc. Work has been done and when I played it this April it was well-mowed and easy to get around. Regardless, a number of the holes are just long throws with few/no obstacles. If you like that, this is a very nice course. Upgraded my rating from 2.0 to 3.5.

Pros: This is my newly amended review of Hunter Farm, since the borough has stepped up and kept it mowed.

This course is a big-armed thrower's dream! It is long and open for the majority of the holes, although accuracy is a must as the well manicured fairways and OB areas come into play. The wind really plays a big part in this. I echo what other reviewers have said in that this reminds of a "Links-Style" ball golf course. I love it! The multiple tee pads allow for all skill levels to have fun. My favorite hole is #16, although there are many to choose from. If you are accurate and long...you can put up some low scores here! Thanks for adding this to the area!
Cons: I would say a con could be so many open holes, but the designer did a great job with what he was allotted. Perhaps some better bridges, but I am sure this will come in the next few years as this course is still in its infancy.
Other Thoughts: What a difference the mowing made. GC borough has held up their end of the bargain and has kept this course playable. Was night and day between those first few rounds and now. Great start.
