Pros: Nice 6 hole course that makes good use of the land that is provided. It is a small park but able to fit in 6 holes and a practice basket near the parking lot. Had good concrete teepads and Discatcher baskets. Teesigns with pictures and an easy course flow make it more enjoyable as well. The course designer did a nice job utilizing the creek that runs through the park as well as adding in a mix of shots. Limited trees and obstacles but was able provide both RHBH and RHFH throws. Additionally, some added mandos a little more challenge to the round.
Cons: There is nothing wrong with this course in terms of layout of bad design. The designer did the best he could with the limited space. He uses the creek, mandos and a variety of shots to add to the challenge. Only "con" would be that standing water was present when I played the course around the practice basket. Seems like flooding could be an issue after a rain.
Other Thoughts: This is a quick fun round for course baggers like myself. One thing to add was the locals were awesome who I met in the parking lot. Super friendly and were excited to see someone else out enjoying their course.

Pros: -- Makes great use of the space and doesn't cram too many holes into this small park. The course is south of the main road (across from the part of the park with playgrounds, etc.) and unlikely to ever be busy.
-- Small creek in play on holes 1 and 5. Creek isn't big, but it is surrounded by tall grass, and the water was murky. Retrieving a disc might be an issue.
-- 2 pin positions per hole.
-- Concrete tee pads, although they are a little narrow.
-- Tee signs at each hole showing hole number, distance to both pin locations, hole map, and next tee; most have bag hooks.
-- Discatcher baskets in great condition.
-- Practice basket next to the parking lot.
-- Course map in front of the parking lot.
-- Lots of trees.
-- Excellent bridges for crossing the creek.
Cons: -- Navigation is an issue, very unusual for a small, 6-hole course. I had to consult the map several times, and I threw to the wrong basket once. Baskets are not numbered, which makes this more of an issue.
-- Baskets 3 and 4 are too close to each other (adding to confusion), and the 4 fairway goes right behind the 3 basket, creating something of a safety issue.
-- Mandos are noted on the tee signs. Some are for safety, but some seem to be strictly for hole design, and I am not a fan of that.
-- Only 6 holes, and they are pretty short. Depending on pin positions, course can range from 1,343 feet to 1,652 feet for 6 holes.
-- No restrooms or water.
Other Thoughts: -- Land is pretty flat, but trees and creek add some natural beauty.
-- Some individual holes (1 and 5) are appealing, but the navigation (especially for a first-time visitor) detracted from the overall experience.

Why not add 3 more holes?
Pros: Set in a nice park with mature trees
Plenty of parking, doesn't look like the park is ever busy
Nice welcome sign with course layout
Nice signage on each hole along with nice concrete teepads
Nice DisCatcher baskets, also have a putting basket or ring of fire basket
Well kept park, small amount of trash
Cons: The big con is that it is only 6 holes
A few more trashcans would be a nice touch
I would have like to seen a little bit more difficulty for the holes they do have. However is a perfect course for beginners
Other Thoughts: More baskets. The park seems to have plenty of room for more holes. I would think with Decatur being so close, that their club could help turn this course into a great location. Maybe something to look forward to.

Great 6 Hole
Pros: For 6 holes this course is great
Good lay out
Easy to follow
GREAT use of trees but not to hard
Not to short
Good baskets and tee pads
Great map and signs
Cons: Its only 6 holes
Other Thoughts: They did so well with this i wish they could put 3 more holes on north side of park to make it 9.
This is one of the best designed layouts for a 6 I have played.
They should feel super proud.

very well done
Pros: -design makes great use of the space and doesn't cram too many holes into this small park, also avoids the horseshoe area pretty well too
-lots of trees in the park that are used well
-small creek in play on holes 1 & 5
-2 pin positions per hole; moderately tough greens with many low ceilings
-excellent concrete tee pads
-great tee signs at each hole showing hole number, distance to both pin locations, hole map, and next tee, and they have bag hooks
-new discatchers in great condition
-practice basket next to the parking lot
-kiosk with course map in front of the parking lot
-small parking lot but adequate for a course this size
-course provides an excellent but approachable challenge for newer players and is not necessarily easy for experienced players
-a few mandos, marked with tape, noted on the tee signs
Cons: -only 6 holes
-only shorter holes; distances from 220' to 285'
-not much of a draw to come check out the course with only 6 holes
Other Thoughts: This small park in Bridgeport, population 6,000, has a really well-designed course that uses the limited space well and makes the most of the trees. The holes all have a line that you must hit in order to reach the green off the tee.
The course equipment is all excellent. Concrete tees, detailed signs with bag hooks on the posts, new discatchers, practice basket, and a kiosk with a course map. There are also two pin positions on every hole and a great bridge to cross the creek that is in play on holes 1 and 5. The tee signs also say 1a, 2a, etc for each hole so maybe there are plans for alternate tees.
I thought the holes were fun and even for experienced players they are not easy birdies for many of the pin positions. They seemed to be mostly in the tougher positions when I played and I only carded 2 birdies and missed longer, low-ceiling putts for deuce on 2 more. For beginners par will be a good score and the creek presents limited danger. It's shallow but does have a lot of tall grass around it.
It's hard to rate this course because there are only 6 holes but those 6 holes are really well done. Two or three rounds here can be a fun experience and I'd be happy to have this course if it were the closest one to where I lived. If you're traveling this way to check out courses then it pairs well with Melba Doyle in Decatur, which also has 6 holes, as well as the other courses there in Decatur, Jones Park and Eagle Summit. Definitely worth playing if you are in Bridgeport.

Average 6 Holer in Small City Park
Pros: This course is situated in a small park in the small city of Bridgeport, Texas. The course is only six holes, but that is about how much the land could handle. Kudos to the designers for recognizing that and only putting in six holes rather than nine.
The course has brand new DisCatcher baskets as well as adequate concrete tees plus a practice basket! There is a little bit of elevation that comes into play on holes five and six. There are a few trees scattered around the course that are all taken into play. Holes 5 and 6 were especially crowded with trees that added a little bit of challenge in an otherwise challenge-less course.
Cons: There are really no glaring cons for this course, but it is just a really average course or as DGCR classifies a 2.0 rated course: "Reasonable". There is not a whole lot of length to add challenge. There are not a whole lot of obstacles to add challenge. It is a quick play and you can keep your drivers in the car.
Other Thoughts: Bridgeport is a bit out of the way from the DFW metro area and this is no destination course by any means. The six hole course in Decatur, 10 miles east, is a better course that has a little bit more a fun factor.
Still, if you somehow find yourself in Bridgeport, this may be the quickest and easiest course for the course baggers.

Pros: cement tee pads
new Innova DiscCatchers
Good tee signs
Nice little park for a small town
Two pin placements so the course could be changed up.
Cons: not a challenging course by any means
only 6 holes
Other Thoughts: Just a block from downtown this is a small city park with 6 holes thrown in it. The course holes are actually not that bad Used what trees that were our there.
Flow is pretty good, but then it is only 6 holes. All the holes are pretty open till hole 5/6, they were the only ones I did not see a wide open clear line.
