Waste of time and space 2+ years

Pros:

Well, it has tee signs
It does have some memorable holes

Cons:

Holes 9 leaves you about as far as it can from hole 1.
Course has not been mowed in a while
Tree's need to be trimmed
home made baskets work OK, other than I had my putt fall out of the bottom of hole 8
Hole 7 is laying on the ground broken off at the base.

Other Thoughts:

Course is behind the Municipal Golf course in a small park with a lake.
To tell the truth, with some clearing and if the flow was better, this would not be a bad course.
But because hole 9 is SO far away from hole 1, the course is overgrown making some of the holes difficult to throw a real drive, hole 7 has been broken off at the base, I can not give this course better than a 2.

If I lived in the area, I think I would push to have the course redesigned using just the "Picnic area" and put in a 9 hole pitch and putt course with a nice fairways with risk reward. It is out there. Then you could mow a smaller area and have a good course people would want to play.

Don't get me wrong, there are some great holes. Both hole 5 and 8 are good disc golf holes. Just not good for what should be a beginners course.

Diamond in the rough 2+ years

Pros:

Good layout for the area used.
Shot variety on most holes.
Definitely forces most shots out of your bag.
Shot execution / placement is rewarded.
Very well designed baskets considering Homemade.
Good Signage.
One of the most challenging 9 hole courses I've played.
Especially if paths and beyond are used as OB.

Cons:

Grass needed to be mowed on the backside of the lake.
A lot of grooming needed.
Poison Ivy is in the rough and fairways.
Several tee pads were hard to determine.
Definitely not beginner friendly.

Other Thoughts:

Located behind a Ball golf course if you play both could be a fun day.
No playground.
Bathrooms were locked.
Course has a lot of potential.

Fun course hidden in Lindsay, OK 2+ years drive by

Pros:

There are a lot of surprisingly challenging holes on this seemingly tiny course. There is a good variety of shots to be made. Great layout of holes.

Cons:

No concrete tee pads and markers are hard to find in the tall grass. The course could use a good manicure- the grass is really high. Lots of poison ivy. The walk from 9 back to the parking lot is significantly far.

Other Thoughts:

This course has a lot of potential to be a great course. If there were more room, I'd love to see it turned into an 18-hole course.
