well, better than no course

Pros: Has tee markers with distances
nice new baskets
Cons: horrible tee's,
basket 9 is a very long walk back to the parking lot
I had a bad feeling when I saw the course from 65 and saw all several baskets lined up down the creek bank
Other Thoughts: Leslie is a small town, I am glad they made an attempt to put in a disc golf course, however this is not designed very well for either rec or seasoned players.
For a seasoned player, this course is all birdies, but maybe hole 9, the only hole over 300ft. Even then, if you can throw a 415 ft shot, you can make the bird.
For a rec player, several of the holes are way way way too close to the river bank. I nearly lost my putter when it hit the basket and only the very last bush kept it from falling into the river.
Basically, all the holes are wide open, only 2 holes that use the trees along the fence are turnover shots to have any tree's in the way.
This course would have been a lot better if they just made it a simple pitch and putt and planted a few tree's to make it interesting. The current design is horrible for regular players and not rec friendly. Then you could have had hole #9 finish up near the parking lot for a good flow.

Great New Course!
Pros: Wide open shots.
Plenty of Ace chances.
Easy to follow tees & signs.
Perfect course for a beginner!
All of the locals were very helpful with discs shot over the fence.
Cons: Terrain is rough at the moment as the course was just built. I'm sure this will even out over time.
Grass/weeds were a bit high at the time of playing.
Other Thoughts: Watch out for the creek and the rough edges. 3 discs were lost on our card when there.
