Cons: -Natural tees (w/ wood toe kick)
-Short holes (from 100' to 250')
-Minimal trees to work around
-Play limited to off school hours
Other Thoughts: Dutch DGC is located on the grounds of the Pella Middle and Intermediate Schools in the eastern part of Pella, IA. A good course to teach the kids about DG, there is some elevation at play, but few trees, so lines are wide open. Signage is OK, with distance and par. #7 marked as an ace run at 100'. I had a decent time on a Saturday. There was another family about halfway through when I started, so it is getting some off school use. Add some concrete tee pads, maybe upgrade the signage with lines, add a trashcan or two to add to the rating. For what this is intended for, on school grounds and all, this is a decent course. I might consider playing again, if in the area.
