Pros: There are nine InStep baskets in the park next to the High School. The park is well maintained, relatively clean, and appears to drain well, so the visiting disc golfer can expect to be able to throw some discs at targets in the 210' to 340' range, going from basket to basket in the order on the map. Highlights, as it were, might be the opportunity to choose lines with a little challenge (getting through low ceilings on 2, 7), and around a few trees (on 5, 6 & 9).
Cons: There are nine InStep baskets in the park next to the High School. That means flimsy, already falling apart (loose cages on 2, 7 & 8), and rusting (1 & 7). You won't find any tees, signage, elevation, or much reason to play here, unless the HS just has kids out introducing them to disc golf. And even then, there are crossing fairways (and even driveways on hole 7) in the pattern, or worse, newbies out there throwing safari attempts, likely at full power.
The experienced disc golfer above recreational skills will not find much reason to visit, since the holes aren't long or particularly challenging. Might actually consider this more of a practice area.
Other Thoughts: My family is from New Castle, and frankly, this was a little bit of an embarrassing visit to find (as expected based on previous reviews) that the course doesn't have much to offer. But kudos for introducing disc golf to town.

Pros: 9 baskets in a small but nice little park in New Castle . Probably meant to introduce disc golf to the area ( I hope ) .
Cons: There wasn't much land to work with here . I hate to bust on this course , but ,,,,, 9 hole course has the cheapest baskets you can buy . single chained and very wobbly . If you have anything but a soft or rubber putter , you run the risk of it bouncing out against the inner post . There are no tee pads on this course . Someone could have just outlined in chalk on the road a teepad for these holes and it would have been better .I played the holes from makeshift teepads on the streets surrounding the course . The park is flat and hole 6 is dangerously close to the ball fields .
Other Thoughts: I could see this course being introductory for children to learn the game , but if you have played more than 2 round in your life , you will have outgrown this course . Play basket to basket , and move on .

Pros: Fun easy open course.
Cons: Baskets chains are slightly above useless providing little catching ability. If you don't hit the chains dead center it will deflect your disc or in 1 case politely step aside to let your disc pass right through.
Other Thoughts: I don't see the lack of tees as a problem. Once you find a basket you can make up your own course and play it differently every time.
