Pros: -Really nice grass for a disc golf course. I'm used to Florida's sandy courses, so this was a real treat. You can play while on vacation, and your clean sneakers will remain clean.
-Signage was very good.
-Cows next door to a few holes. I consider this a plus (even with the cow smell). It was fun to hear moo'ing while driving off the tee.
-Good variety of shots, with mostly trees, rocks, and hills for difficulty
Cons: -Wind (or is that a decide). I always have a tougher time in the wind. Since I was on vacation, I only had 1 disc with me, and it was the wrong one. I'd bring more to this course next time.
Other Thoughts: A pretty course with nice variety and great grass. Easy to get to from the freeway, it's a really nice place to stop on your way to Louisville or Nashville. Fun.

Pros: Great Upkeep
Nice layout
Easy to find Holes
Even balance of trees and open space
Not to hard but also not to easy
Cons: None other than Hole 2 had a cow manure smell but that's not something they can control.
Other Thoughts: Def. comin back

Pros: Tee signs-excellent
Tee pads-excellent
Course Flow-great
This course was beautiful. The grass is very lush. Mature trees give you a classic park feel. 2 personalities on this course. Front 9 a little more technical, back 9 a little more open. Rolling hills through the course give it some character. Maybe not a challenging course but a chance to work on a lot of skills
Cons: Not many. The back 9 can be a little redundant but it was fun. Some of the front 9 fairways come close to other fairways.
Other Thoughts: A must play in Bowling Green, the aesthetics are too much to not appreciate.

Pros: The course was very beautiful and well maintained. The open holes are very well mowed

It had a great mix of open and moderately wooded holes that made for a good balance. The OB was fair and I didn't mind the mando on 2 which I assume was that there to stop people from throwing over the barbed wire fence on the right.

Nice tee-signs
Cons: Just didn't have that wow factor don't get me wrong it is a solid course but it is far from great.

Lack of benches was irritating once again. Also no trashcans that I can remember

I do find holes that are wide open with nothing major in the way to be boring so that took away from the course in my eyes.

Other Thoughts: This course was a good one to play. It was the best one that my division played at BG however it still wasn't anything special imo. The wooded holes added a little difficulty but it was easy to get up and down(unless you went ob) due to virtually no rough. I would recommend this one over the others that I played here for sure but some of the other courses in town are likely more worth your while.

Pros: Loves Lane is a slightly longer course with some large mature trees and no underbrush. It has nice discatcher baskets and big concrete tee pads.

The mature trees create multiple lines to the basket on many of the holes and present the fun challenge of navigating them. There are moderate sized rolling hills throughout the course which adds to the fun. While the course is a bit on the long side, there's still a decent variety of hole length with 5 holes under 300 ft, 8 between 300-350 ft and 5 holes between 350-500 ft.

The course is easy to navigate, there's a large course map at the start of the course and the tee signs get the job done. There's a practice basket, restroom and water fountain and the course has looping 9's.
Cons: While there are a good amount of mature trees on about half the course, the other half is basically wide open, especially the back 9.

There isn't a good shot variety here. A couple holes force turnover shots and some have multiple routes to the basket, but most are too wide open to force any sort of line to the basket.

IMHO, hole 2 has a gimmicky mando forcing you to keep from throwing the hyzer route.
Other Thoughts: The distance makes this a good course for more advanced players and the lack of under brush makes it very friendly for newer players.

Lovers Lane is a fun course worth playing when you're in Bowling Green. The distance adds to the challenge, but the course is so open

Pros: Great place to work on your distance. Multiple drives to be worked on here, not just straight shots here. Also multiple routes can be taken on each hole. Strategic trees make you alter your shot. Plenty of birdies if you play your drive right, but can also have bogeys if you throw an errant drive or the winds are rolling.
Cons: No benches are here on this course. Hole 10's tee pad needs to be replaced. Really minor things.
Other Thoughts: This is one of the 3 best courses in Bowling Green. Fun course to empty your bag on many holes and it's fun to do the parking lot challenge on hole 18. Definately has to be visited if you are in the area.

Pros: Lover's Lane is a very pretty course that features groves of hardwood trees and gently rolling hills over nice green grass. The course is very seperate from the other parts of the park so you do not have to worry about non discers.

The design of the course really makes the most of the gentle elevation changes on this property. There are only 3 or 4 holes that play flat. The design also brings the trees into play as much as possible requiring at least a minimum of shot shaping while allowing most holes to be thrown either FH or BH. Even in the mostly open back nine there are some trees to contend with as well as some thoughtful OB to add difficulty. Lover's Lane offers a pretty decent variety of hole length with a few nice short ace runs all the way up to a 500+ long bomber. Both the front and back nines loop back to the same point.

This course has a nice easy flow to it. This is helped by the bright yellow Discatchers (in great shape) and the tee signs at each tee.

There are very nice amenities at this course. A practice basket with distance markers, bathrooms, water fountain, pavilion near #1, benches and garbage cans. The course itself is also very well maintained with the grass mowed regulary and some nice mulch around the baskets to prevent wear.

This is a great course for beginners up through advanced.
Cons: This is really not an overly challenging course. There ae not any holes that really make you stop and think about your throw. If you can drive in the 300' range you can drop some pretty low scores here.

The tee's are beginning to show quite a bit of wear. Cracks are beginning to form and erosion around the tees are increasing.

The back nine is a little boring. Without the trees of the front nine the holes are a little repetitive.
Other Thoughts: I played this course during the 2010 BG Ams and I had a lot of fun. The course is really well kept and is enjoyable to play. With the amount of short, woods courses in the BG area this is a nice change of pace. I think Lover's Lane is another nice course for the area. I am planning on playing the 2011 BG Ams and I hope I get to play it again.

Pros: Nice signage/benches/big trash cans at most holes. New sweet baskets. Very nice flow and easy to navigate. Creative use of OB. Beautiful course.
Cons: Fairways very close to each other and in some cases a bit of overlap could be cause for concern.
Other Thoughts: I enjoyed this course. It was a bit repetitive but I believe the addition of rock OB's and landscape added to the overall enjoyment of the course. I think the course designer did a very nice job making the best out of the land available. And beautiful Kentucky bluegrass the whole 18 holes!

Pros: This course is very scenic and has many mature trees on the front nine. Big concrete tee pads, great practice putting area, restroom, and a water fountain.
Cons: Even though there are plenty of mature trees, you can basically throw forehand or backhand on any hole. Not to many shots that force you to throw one way. The back nine is practically the same shot over and over again. And it was hard to find the next tee after a few holes.
Other Thoughts: This course could be a really good course if it added a few things. First of all it needs to plant more trees to shape shots up. Secondly signs after each hole would be nice. If trees were planted to force more shots one way i would love to play this course in 5 years.
