-- No. 7 is the best hole on the course, a 260-foot uphill shot that gives you a low line RHFH under some limbs or a RHBH that takes you out over a road.
-- Good variation in distances. Three holes are shorter than 200 feet while four play longer than 300, including the 500-foot finishing hole.
-- Doesn't favor one throwing style (RHBH vs. LHBH, etc.).

-- The course is split (1-3, 4-9) by dorms/apartments. Holes 1-3 are some of the most boring holes around. There is not one tree on that piece of land.
-- Natural tees that are a bit uneven.
-- Some tee signs are too close to the tee area and can interfere with a throw.
-- Some tee areas are too close to the previous basket.
-- There are no benches, few trash cans, no restrooms, or water.

-- The challenge level is low in general (rec, perhaps low intermediate).
-- Holes 1-3 bring this course down. If those holes were at the level of 4-9, I would raise the overall rating to 2.5.

-Baskets are in great shape, seemingly brand new. I don't like the yellow band Innova's but some people might like them.
-There is a little elevation here, and I feel like is well used. The signature hole to me is #9 which is unique in the way it uses elevation. The tee and the basket are at the same elevation. There is a hill as an obstacle on the shortest path to the basket. Or you can go around the hill (longer) to stay on flat ground.
-Plenty of parking.
-The crowd level was low.
-The locals are friendly and courteous.
-This course does have some scenic beauty to offer, especially on holes 4 - 9.

-The natural tees are a bit uneven. I like natural tees if they are taken care of. You could tell these got deformed in some muddy play and left craters from prior throws.
-The tee signs are too close to the tee area. They get in the way of your throw.
-Some tee areas are too close to the prior hole's basket. About 4 times out of 18 holes, I overthrew and landed on the tee.
-This place cannot handle a crowd. If there were more than 4 or 5 groups, it would get chaotic and possibly dangerous. Luckily it was not crowded the day I played.
-There are no benches, few trash cans, no restrooms, or water.
-The challenge level is low in general. Some holes lack luster, mainly holes 2 and 3. There is no obstacle on them. No trees, no long distance, no elevation.
-Only 9 holes.

This was a long overdue round of DG with some old friends, Noah and David.

My actual rating was a 2.88 on my score sheet I have for rating courses.

Even though the challenges are low, it's still a fairly fun course. I would like to play it again. It might get stale if I played it too often though.

This course would do good to have 2 sets of tees per basket, to make 18 unique holes on the 9 baskets.

My thoughts on hole 7: it's not as bad as it seems. There is an open route to get a 3 by making the "L". There are lines through the trees to get a 2. You have to throw over the brush and short trees to clear it. The risk is really high though. I don't knock them for creating a hole like that.

This college campus course was pretty much what I expected, open, simple, great for learning the fundamentals of dg. Most of the course was open and required a distance driver off the tee. The descending fairways of holes # 1 and #4, were the highlights of the course. The ascending fairways of #3 and #9 were less fun, but will help beginners round out their games on an otherwise flat course. Their were even a couple shorter fairways (#5, #8) that required more precise midrange placements.

I think the course designer did good job with the landscape given even if the overall course experience came off as a little basic. My only real complaints are that a few tees were really close to the previously thrown to basket and hole 7 in general. There's not really a route to basket #7 for a birdie, unless you poke and hope through a wall of trees and bushes. If some sort of window was cut out through that wall of vegetation, it would help create a decent risk/reward shot. As is, players have to throw a descending dogleg right drives half way down the "fairway", then an ascending approach to the basket. I don't get it.

Overall, I think this will be a useful introductory course for students and the general public alike. The fairways are quite forgiving and long enough for enthusiastically drive happy beginners.

baskets are good. There were a couple of nice holes. some nice elevation changes. signage is mostly there and was mostly not hard to navigate. beginner friendly.

dirt tee pads were not very defined. only 9 holes and not much variety. the 1st 3 holes are totally open with no obstacles really. hole #7 had no real path to get to the basket. no real amenities on the course

it's an ok course on a college campus. nice for practice or a quick round. Not good enough to make me want to go back there. there was a bit of a long walk between #3 and #4 but not hard to find and signage helped. I liked holes 4,8 and 9 the best. Hole 7 has no path to the basket. when you leave #6 there is a bridge you cross and #7 tee is back to the right. there is a visible basket left off the tee but that is #8. 7 basket is up the hill behind a large wall of trees and shrubs with underbrush. no opening at all. I threw at the wrong basket and only saw the correct one after walking out a bit. bizarre hole.
