All Skill Levels
Pros: Great course for all skill levels, especially for those who are just learning this GREAT sport. There are a few holes that will challenge your skills in the woods, a few holes that are flat and wide open and then there are a few that are elevated along the levee that will challenge your skills in those windy/breezy conditions. The Anderson Disc Golf Club has worked very hard this year, ensuring that there is a Porta-Pot at the course, cleaning/clearing and planting new trees to shape the course in the years to come.
Cons: Prone to flooding, No potable/drinking water, No night time security lights in the parking lot. The Parks department is a little slow at keeping it mowed and when they do mow the fairway grass is still about six inches which eliminates and skip shots. MOSQUITOES are HORRENDOUS!!!!!
Other Thoughts: This park also has a paved walking/jogging/biking trail/picnic area and boat launch to the river. With all the activity this park sees you would think that the City & Parks Department would try to control the mosquitoes better.
