Pros: Great Balance of holes Front 9 3 straight 3 anny 3 hyzers. Two tunnel shots 4 blind shots 4 challenging 4s but makeable in three with great drives.
Back 9 More challenging,
10 bomber hyzer hole, 11- 2 anny lines, 12- pond shot into tight woods 13- blind curve lay up shot to straight tunnel shot, 14 blind SPike Hyzer (or Tomahawk) shot 15-S flex shot 16- Tight flick shot 17 HIgh Anny Shot (and a prayer)18- long Bomber anny . This course is a great practice for any disc golfer, makes you work with all your discs and all your throws.
Cons: Vandalism to course, lack of benches, lack of garbage cans, and some tee pad and tee sign need repair.

Parks and Club need to raise some funds and update the signs and get a practice basket.
Other Thoughts: When I first played this course several years ago, I hated it. But playing it now I really enjoy the challenges it provides, In this area W-TN and WKY its the only course that has this many challenges. Glad to see its getting more use these days and its staying picked up. Local Club meets on saturdays at 9am great bunch of guys. With some cleanup and updateing this could be a 4-4.5 course.

 Challenging, fun course

Pros: Paris offers just about any shot you would like to make. There are tight runs through trees, shape shots that also require precision, overhand throws to get out of trouble when you hit one of those little guardian trees that create the gaps. Downhill shots, uphill shots....
The front 9 sets you up for the back 9 in that you get to warm up your aim. Hole one is a big downhill run that finishes under a tree. Not a terribly hard shot, but the road is just behind the basket, and since it's downhill, easy to overthrow. 2 plays along the bottom and introduces you to the woods.
3-9 weave in and around the bottoms, with several really tight gaps, blind overhill shots, and lots of opportunities to really test your accuracy. Then, you cross the road and meet hole 10. He's a friendly little guy. Longish, but not too hard.

So, you're thinking that you've already played all the hard stuff. Well, you're dead wrong.
Hole 11 is a really cool little tunnel shot with a true risk/reward situation in that there are 2 routes out of the woods. One is a really tight cut to the right, lined with pine trees, but it goes straight towards the basket. The other route is straight off the pad, but you're making the hole longer. Really neat little hole.
Hole 12 is a daunting throw over water. Not too long (maybe 100' to the shore), but if you want to make the basket, you've gotta carry a fair amount of distance, avoid the thick, thick trees and not land where you will roll into the water. Very tough hole, even if you do make the shore. This is due to the large mounds, trees, and thickets around the basket. And, we played in the winter!
13 is a long, tight uphill tunnel that eventually takes a sharp right, goes slightly downhill, to a basket set on the side of a hill that will roll your putt down to the bottom. TOUGH!
14 plays along the bottom near the lake, and is another blind shot. The basket lies on the uphill side, and off to the left with trees everywhere.
15 is a beautiful hole that plays downhill into a circle of pines. Easily the coolest looking hole on the course.
16 is a bear. No real lines to throw unless you go over the pond, or can hit a very small window to the left.
17 requires a very well placed annie (RHBH) shot, and for a short hole, there are probably 100 trees between you and your target.
Then, you make your way out of the woods for a longish annie drive that takes you back to the road for hole 18.
Cons: They need to install some benches, trash cans and bathrooms out there. The signs are dated, but accurate-ish. Sometimes it would say a slight left, when in reality it's a pretty strong dog leg. Minor thing, and after you play it, you know. But for a first timer, it makes you walk a lot of the holes. Partly due to the plethora of blind tee shots also though.
Other Thoughts: This is a fun, challenging course that will help you hone your game. Gotta bring it to shoot good, and to me, that's a great quality in a course.

Pros: Very fun course, great variety of shots.
Course demands accuracy.
Hole 12 drives over water - no trees to hit!
Course flows pretty well.
The front and back nine have different flavors.
Cons: There are some areas where a shot into the 'rough' will involve a 'disc safari' in tall weeds.
Hole 14 does not have an actual line to the pin, which could be frustrating to some players.
Vandalism of course signs
Other Thoughts: This course is fun to play. The tight nature of some holes means that you may find yourself working very hard and making great shots just to bogey after an errant drive into a tree.
This course would improve with some upkeep.
If you enjoy playing at par, this may not be the course for you. If you enjoy overcoming adversity and amazing yourself with what you can do under challenging conditions, this may be the course you have been looking for.

Pros: Great layout, easy to make it from green to tee. Lots of variation in the holes, with a couple short par 4's
Cons: Can get a little tight in the wooded areas, especially in the summer.
Other Thoughts: Great course to start on and sharpen your skills. Lots of variation in hole layout.

Pros: This is a very challenging course by design. Most of the wooded holes have narrow lanes that require a variety of shots. Its in a nice area, with new bathrooms, and not far form for your favorite resturants.
Cons: This is the course I paly at least once a week for practice and is a good course, but it needs a lot of TLC. There narrow fariways have become ever smaller than desigend bc of grown out low hanging and broken limbs for storms. The open holes (5 of them) get mowed on a weekly basis, but the wooded holes, on the other hand, once or twice in the summer. The back 9 holes 12- 17 are in need of the most work. There are limited to no acutal fairways and tress blocking every throwing lane. Plus there are briars, saplings, and posin ivy growing abuntantly. The two worst holes on the front 9 are 5 & 6. They are on the very back side of the course and rarely get mowed so 3 ft tall weeds fill what little fairways provided. Not to mention the misquitoes on those holes are vicious. Do yourself a favor, If the weeds are tall just play four and walk over to 7 and save your self some trouble.
Other Thoughts: This is good course to play. If your from out of town then go ahead and try the full 18. If your a local looking to play or practice, then stick to holes 1-4, 7-11, & 18

****Sept 2011****
The back 9 is currently in decent shape since the playing of the tournament earlier this month. Still quiet a bit of underbrush and overhaning limbs, but there are clear lanes on most holes. Get out and play it while its good. This is the best the back 9 will be until next year at tournament time.

 Neglected and abused

Pros: Bathrooms are close by, and fairly clean. A course map at hole 1, made from sattelite images gives you a great idea of what you are getting in to. Once you get into the woods, there's lots of shade. The front 9 are excellet holes, with well defined fairways, and providing good flow through the park.
Cons: The tee pad signs have recieved a considerable amount of vandalism. After the first couple of holes, most signs had some, or all of their information missing. The course isn't played enough to "follow the beaten path", or, if it is, the fallen leaves, trees, and branches hide it. The back 9, other than a couple of holes, are some of the hardest I've ever seen.
Other Thoughts: The DG course has the potential to be a very good course, however, there appears to have been little, to no upkeep done since it was built. The baskets are all in good shape, considering the damage done to the tee signs. If you plan to play this course, and never have, print a copy of the course map to take with you and keep in your bag, we didn't. I would also recommend, trying to hook up with some locals, or contact the course guide to see if you could get someone to show you around the course, and again, we didn't.

Pros: Front nine is brilliantly laid out, with good signage for the most part and a wide variety of shots. Makes very good use of the park's walking trail. Back nine is very challenging, but uses some unique terrain and rewards good shots.
Brand new restrooms located behind #1 tee.
Cons: Walking trail receives a lot of use - occasionally lots of pedestrians and their dogs.
Course is very prone to vandalism - signage is often damaged or missing altogether.
Plenty of ticks in the woods during the summer months.
Other Thoughts: As other reviews have stated, the back nine is an absolute bear for those attempting the course the first time. Couple that with a confusing layout and little signage and you have a recipe for a frustrating afternoon. Play with a local or get a map if at all possible.
However, this remains one of the top courses in the area and is well worth trying.

Pros: Good mix of open holes and wooded holes. Nice park and disc golf is mostly away from everything else if I remember correctly.
Cons: I remember us confused sometimes in attempting to find the next hole, but we did eventually. The hole over the lake seemed daunting but I made it over.
Other Thoughts: The is the first time I played disc golf and I now love the game and am obviously better now then then. I hope to play this course again one day.

Pros: Great park with the front nine being a blast to play in and out of the woods...Hole one is a great start...tee pads and signs on the front nine all in great shape...and that's where it ends!
Cons: The back nine is hard...i mean really hard...several of the holes are not marked and there are literally no fairways..One hole shoots across the lake and has the potential to be one of the most scenic holes in the area but it's quickly ruined when you get to the other side and there is underbrush and really no safe place to land....hole 16 is absurd, fairway and little pine trees everywhere...there is no place to even think about getting a clean shot...if the back nine were cleared and marked then this course would be so much better.
Other Thoughts: I am thankful to Scott and Gary (2 Locals) who showed us around the back nine once we couldn't find hole 12 (no sign) this is really a fun course on the front nine and gets very very hard on the has a ton of potential is really could be one of the best around.

Pros: The restrooms and parking and cleanliness were tops here. Waste baskets at strategic holes. Course looked great, holes were fair, tee pads were long enough, baskets were in top shape.
Well manicured on most holes.
Cons: Who made up this back nine? It is one of the toughest back nines in our area.
I didn't like it but I respected it enough to want to play it again. The signs on the back nine were missing and getting to the next tee was tough on a couple of holes. Rocks for a landing area on 14. Lake water stunk to high heaven. Don't bring floaters, just cheap dx's cause you wouldn't want these discs if they landed in this water. Pheeeewwww!
Other Thoughts: While this was a dichotomy in terms of beauty and the beast, leaving Number 9 pin I couldn't help but think, :"I am already up three strokes and now I have to walk across this damn road.":
Why this course is rated at only two discs is wrong. This one is at least a three and probably a 3 and 1/2. If you are in the area, at least play this back nine.
