Pros: -Rubber Tee Pads
-Good Signage
-Baskets OK
-Mix of open/wooded, long/short
-Multi-use park, stays away from most other activities (see below)
Cons: -Strange Layout (See Below)
-Walking Path in play on #2, #5, #6, #7, #8
-#7 is 180 degree turn, full U shaped hole
-Long, confusing path back from #9
-Walk from the parking lot to tee 1 and from #9 basket
-No benches / Trashcans
Other Thoughts: Lisbon Meadows DGC plays in a large park of Lisbon Meadows just north of Lisbon, CT. There is a walk-in from the parking area to all activities. The first 3 holes play in the first open space, #4 plays in the second open space, but away from the soccer field. #5, 6 and 7, play in the third open area with 7 being a U shaped full 180, with severe left turn needed. #8 and 9 play though the trees, but 9 ends in the middle of the trees. There is a long and confusing path, most of it on the walking path back. The map and notes said it comes back to Tee #4, I ended up back at #1 and near the exit path. There is plenty of room to make this a 12 or even 18 hole course, seems unfinished. The signage is good until the end of the course when there is lone sign for the exit, then nothing. There is also a lot of times that the walking path comes into play. The course needs a redesign, some benches and trashcans, a better route after finish. My round here was OK, but way away from home, so unlikely to be back. But the play is OK, if you need a round to play in the area.

Not bad for a beginner course.

Pros: 1. Some easy pitch and putt holes for putter practice. 2. Nice open soccer field near hole 4 for practice throws.
Cons: My biggest concern with this course is hole 4. It plays as a RHFH and the basket straddles the edge of the woods. If you happen to go in to those woods, WATCH YOUR FEET. About a foot or two in to the greenery THERE'S A SINGLE BARBED WIRE LINE. I almost gashed my leg on that damn thing. I don't even know why it's there. It's hard to see because it's in the bushes and low to the ground. BE CAREFUL. Other than that, some holes make no sense. Hole two is a sub 250 ft. par 4. There's a massive bush blocking the only line in to the fairway. Hole 7 plays as some weird U shot with a basket that's basically as far back around a wooded mando as the tee pad. Even with a huge hyzer it was difficult to get close. Maybe it's just me.
