I got some Climo discs in the mail today, here are my thoughts.
Conditions weren't too good. I was throwing on a partially snow covered field in 15 mph winds after not playing in a few weeks.

Champ 172g this seems like a KC pro aviar in good plastic. It has a little bend to it with good grip. Maybe a little stiffer than XT, but also doesn't feel like it'll taco when it hits a tree. Not a Discraft putter plastic aficionado, but this is the nicest Discraft putter plastic that I've ever felt. that It was a little windy and I need some time with deeper discs to get a feel for them, but id give it 2 3 0 2 for flight numbers.
Bellaire 168 seems like a rancho roc. Mine was pretty light and it was windy but the 5 4 0 2 that Climo puts on it is pretty accurate.
Skyway 157 definitely not 11 4 -1 3. Id give it a 11 5 -2 2. Mine was pretty light, but even accounting for that it's pretty understable. It has some pretty good glide though.

The plastic on the Bellaire and Skyway was better than any esp I've ever felt. It's not to stiff or flexible. It Has really good grip. Just slightly less grip that a neutron driver that I had with me.

If Discraft can make plastic this nice, then why don't they?

I'd like to support the Champ but hopefully he's made some coin from my Wraith purchases. I have no interest in a Discraft Rock or big bead putter. I'll bite if they run the Roach in the new putter plastic.

probably 10-20 cents.

I can't wait to check it out. I don't personally care for ESP. But. It's still nice to know.

As for plastic nice.
Discraft has had a lot of plastics they no longer make that are far nicer than anything they make now.

I think every MFG really has 1 or 2 of those at some point, and eventually they either stop experimenting much to keep it simple, or it's just to much wasted machine time to try new things.

KCPro is probably one of my favorite innova plastics though.
If they are trying to copy KCPro to some level, it would make sense why its feeling so nice.

The bead on the champ looks pretty close to a big bead aviar bead to me.

Sheep, KC plastic is an abomination.

Discraft has that mini/micro/maxi pad bead on the Stalker too. One of the most piss poor flying, and feeling, frisbees I've had the displeasure to throw to this day.

They do things differently, that's for sure...

One of my best buddies and my main dg rival for going on 25 years at this point has a Stalker he loves. I am always happy when I see it come out of his bag.

Why you gotta be so negative? =)

I've noticed if guys like the stalker they LOVE the stalker.

I didnt know about all the bead stuff though. I like Old old discraft stuff. The only new discraft I throw is a scorch.

I had some better conditions for testing today. The champ and Bellaire are clones of discs that I always liked the idea of throwing more that actually throwing. If you're a roc or big bead aviar person you'll probably like them.
The skyway on the other hand is my new disc crush. That thing has a ton of glide and is very controllable. It was consistently landing 10-15' further than my fission photon. Id still rate it at 11 5 -2 2. The perfect stability for a distance driver for me. Photons aren't my longest distance driver, but they're the best combo of distance and consistency for me. Time will tell on the consistency for the skyway, but so far I feel pretty in control of it.

Have you thrown a wraith enough to be able to make that comparison?
